I think this jumped out at me as the most reflective. In the end she didn't have the 'servant's heart' enough for it. She went the self-serve route. Now, that's not a criticism.... just an observation. I couldn't put myself out there to serve country above all else either.

Well of course we do! But I think when it comes to Palin, she wants to be able to live her life and push her agenda as she sees fit, not pander. She will likely wield more power, and earn more money, being a sensationalist media starlet, than she ever could going for the white house.

In the past Ron Paul said he would not hinder immigration by illegals. I don't know what his current view is on the subject but this will surely work against him now.
