And what is wrong with being a pacifist? According to the Christian Bible a nation that has faith in God has no need of a standing army as He will fight that nation's battles and win its wars.

See Psalm 27, 81:13; Isaiah 41:12; I Samuel 8:20; Luke 1:69-75.

If anything, it is not pacifists who are jeopardizing the USA or the world. It is warmongering sinners who instigate wars such as Neo-KKKons, Zionists, Republicans, and the like who are doing so. Those are the ones you should be blaming.

And remember - God PUNISHES!

Uh-Huh. How about terrorists? My problems with so called pacifists are that they are full of excuses for terrorists but when someone tries to remove the terrorists, pacifists go into holier than though mode.

As indicated they miss the vital point about allowing conflicts to hit a resolution point. Early cease fires are just a pause.

BTW your religion means nothing to me, and most of the conflict in the ME is religous based.

Uh, but aren't the Republicans the bible-thumping party? And aren't the KKK a right-wing Christian group?

You'll have to excuse my ignorance. I'm not an American, and I know very little about the USA. I'm not a racist either, so I know very little about the KKK. I'm not a Zionist either, by the way.

If they do I'm buying some shares in "Old Dutch" chips.

Old Dutch potato chips? Never heard of them. All I ever see around here is Lay's, Ruffles, Pringles, etcetera. Oh, and the corn chips like Fritos, and Doritos, etcetera.

I've heard of Old Dutch cleaner. But that stuff hardly makes a nice snack. Well, unless you're planning a hospital visit and a stomach pump.

Precisely. Here are these Bible thumpers telling the entire world as to why everybody needs to read the Bible through their eyes. Just because they cannot think for themselves, they believe that everyone needs to blindly conform to their hate filled, warmongering ideals. This is precisely how Hitler and his followers believed. Now you know why Prescott Bush financed Hitler and why Bush and his minions follow their psychotic behavioral patterns.

This is simply lies.

Prescott Bush did NOT finance Hitler.

The rest of the post is beneath even contempt.

Nothing, as long as you don't mind being stepped on and letting other people fight your battles for you. Pacifism is an unrealistic and naive view of the world. If you're not prepared to defend yourself, you lose.

According to the Christian Bible a nation that has faith in God has no need of a standing army as He will fight that nation's battles and win its wars.
Oh sure. That's about the dumbest attitude to this issue I can imagine. Why doesn't that omnipotent, omniscient god just prevent the wars from happening in the first place? It'd save him having to kill off a lot of his own creatures in defence of others of his creatures. But maybe he enjoys that; it's pretty clear in the Old Testament that he's a mass murderer. The United States appears from all the polls to be among the most god-fearing and religious nations on the planet, and it's certainly led by a man who wears his faith on his sleeve; why isn't god cleaning things up in Iraq for him?

Your god's not involved, gopher, and never has been, 'cause he's not real.

Really? I thought only Godless communists believed that!

Ho ho, what a revelation!

I don't know if God is real or not, but someone has been playing God with my signature. Hmmm, I've added a new one.

I just feel so naked without a signature. Like someone is watching me.

Prescott Bush did NOT finance Hitler.

Oh yeah? Wanna bet that wealthy elitists such as him financed Hitler?

Read Higham's Trading With The Enemy and the numerous links that have been previously listed on this forum. All make numerous quotes directly from the Congressional Record to thoroughly document these facts.

How about offering some proof to refute these truths?

I must say that we continue to see the repeated pattern of denial after denial on this forum from the right wing Bush supporters - but these same delusionals do not attempt to offer even a shred of evidence to support their delusional beliefs.

When will they ever open their eyes????????? When will they ever write the truth???????

It never ceases to amaze me how these right wingers all hide behind the Bible and use it to justify every manner of evil that they commit, including invading foreign lands and killing to no end despite the fact that the New Testament expressly forbids it all. What will these hate filled haters say to God on the Judgment Day after their blatant refusal to obey Divine Law???

The New Testament law clearly says to refrain from killing enemies - it says to pray, comfort, feed them, and if necessary to sacrifice it all for them. {op cit} It sure would be nice to see these professing Christians set a better example.

the race is run,
the book is read,
the end begins to show,
the truth is out,
the lies are old,
and Blackburn's got to go...

ooops, that should be, "but you don't want to know."

Although, I suppose both lines are totally accurate.

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, by the way.

Bush family and Hitler

The stories about Prescott Bush have been around for decades. There are enough stories from credible sources to convince me that some of it is true.

Have you been reading Blackburn propaganda? That's precisely what the Blackburn Guide for a Prosperous Canada states:

Blackburn Guide for a Prosperous Canada said:
  1. Pray for them (Blackburn).
  2. Comfort them (Blackburn).
  3. Feed them (Blackburn).
  4. Sacrifice all for them (Blackburn).

Welcome to Corporate Earth, where misery waits at every turn, and sodomy is just around the corner.

RE: Pacifists versus peac

Jesus said that He would give a ONE HUNDREDFOLD INCREASE to those who give to the poor:

Matthew 19:29
Mark 10:30

perhaps that's where you got this info!

As I wrote beforehand, it's all part of the Congressional Record and, therefore, cannot be refuted.

Who's truth are you looking for? If I stated mine you'd crucify me too.

Pacifism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pacifism is the opposition to war or violence as a means of settling disputes. Pacifism covers a spectrum of views ranging from the belief that international disputes can and should be peacefully resolved, to absolute opposition to the use of violence, or even force, under any circumstances.

I can't see anything wrong, by definition, with being a Pacifist. (There's your nails)

Pacifism would be great if everyone was one. What happens when you are attacked? If you don't defend yourself you could die. or worse.
It would be relatively easy to be a pacifist in Canada where you aren't likely to be attacked. If you are born in Israel you can still be a pacifist, but you better hope that someone is willing to defend you.

War is a lot like surgery,no one likes it but sometimes it is necessary. If you turn the other cheek to a terrorist they will smack that one also. We may be on the cusp of another major world war. I hope the western democracies use overwhelming force such as a couple A-bombs right off the bat. It worked with Japan.
