Republican officials, who view the party as unwilling to stand up to former U.S. President Donald Trump and his attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, are in talks to form a center-right breakaway party.
The early stage discussions include former elected Republicans, former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Trump, ex-Republican ambassadors and Republican strategists, the people involved say.
More than 120 of them held a Zoom call last Friday to discuss the breakaway group, which would run on a platform of “principled conservatism,” including adherence to the Constitution and the rule of law — ideas those involved say have been trashed by Trump.

These anti-Trumper buffoons were never really Trump fans at all. Like M. Romney, Liz Cheney and other so called Republicans have all been contributors and have always been supporters of the deep state swampsters. They need to go start up their own new democratic party because they are not republicans at all. They will not go very far. Trump does not need to worry about them because the 80 odd million of people out there WHO voted for Trump are not going to support those traitors to the republican party. Besides, those morons could start up their own new democratic party and could possibly take away plenty of votes that could go to the dumbocrats their supposed enemy.
In Canada, we have the same kinds of traitors in the conservative party that act more like they should be in the liberal party. Personally, I do not think that the conservative party is a real and true conservative party anymore. They keep kicking out real and true conservatives. Go figure?

If the moderate Republicans (RINOS) are unhappy, they are more than welcome to join the Democrats. Some already did, like former Ohio governor John Kasich who supported Biden for President. Forming a new center-right party would just split the conservative vote.

I'm afraid that that's been swapped out - the Republicans are now more for the average American of all races (surprisingly under Trump) & the Democrats are the racists. It is now clear what the Democrats stand for (at least the Left portion of their wing & the moderate Democrats seem to not to be able to stand up against). They haven't done a thing for minorities (of all colors) and now are engaging in the "white supremacy" B.S. to retain those minority votes. The Democrats are the hypocritical Party that has been slowly but methodically are putting minorities & whites down because it suits their ideology which is clearly Marxist. They lie constantly & are doing everything they can to erase history - the good, bad & the ugly because it would show (to their chagrin) that America has moved forward and is much more tolerant & a better society than it was 50 or 100 years ago. That's can't happen because they need to show how awful America is and always has been. The truth would "out" their lies.
Are there individuals who are racist - absolutely but 99.9% of people are not.

We are now being constantly told that we white folk have way too much white privilege. Well, what does one expect when white people founded and settled and were once the majority in North America. We white privilege folk were born here in North America. Why wouldn't we have all the jobs and the privilege? I guess that one can say that the people living in Africa or Asian or Arab countries are all privileged because of their non-white looking skin and features and that they were born in those countries and are in the majority.
