We have accumulated over two feet of snow in the last week. It is snowing like hell right now and it reminds one of that movie, "The Day After Tomorrow". I wonder what the start of an ice age looks like. Does it just start to snow...and not stop? I don't think we are entering into an ice age.......But still..........;-)

Naw, this is what we're supposed to get.
This is what we used to get.
When I was a little whipper snapper, we had snow in one night up to my shoulders. Our front yard had 7's snow drifts, it'd go on for days.
Then again I also lived a few minutes from Mt. Thom, but I'm used to it.
They just said on the news on tv that this is the first time all of Canada will get a white christmas since 1971 or 70 something.
Until they say there is no current record for the amount of snow we're getting, there's not much to worry about.
For now, enjoy it.
As for me, I couldn't get to work today because the magazine hill was backed up all the way to the chicken burger. Now most of you out of the Maritimes probably don't have a clue what that all is, let's just say no buses showed for over two hours while I waited out in those 130km gusts and snow.
So by the time I would have gotten to work, I'd be going home anyways.
