I'm not a Liberal and I didn't take offense. I'm just sick and tired of the "leftard" "neocon" bull.
It's no wonder we never get anywhere, either in politics or discussions.
I've said it before. If people in Ontario vote this corrupt government back in they get exactly what they deserve. Just what people need is the Nanny State saving their money for them.

You guys just don't get it.. the more left leaning the political group, the more taxes they will have you pay.
Now look at Alberta.. FREE Health Care, NO PST.. and they had really bad times, when Pierre Trudeau was in power and still never turned onto the people..
So you keep electing your left leaning political parties, wealth distribution parties and keep hating on Alberta and Conservatives..

You don't get it. Conservatives killed Ontario Hydro and the competitive advantage it gave industry. Liberal gave us more of the same. Right choice doesn't necessarily mean correct choice. Stick with your Kentucky jelly
I can't agree with you there. I was never a fan of them selling off a bunch of stuff, but after the Peterson and Ray government Ontario bounced back under Harris. I was here, there were lots of good paying jobs.
Why was it, again, that Harris bailed out and left Erie holding the bag - something like that other crook did but with about a half million less in goodbye pay?
The city council has been raising property taxes yearly for as long as I can remember. Ford's increases have been less than Millers which seemed to be rather heafty. Of course he needed the money for his Climiate Change Centre in London, England and other such money wasters.
Where does this fit in with the discussion of assuming only 'leftists' raise taxes?
Like yourself; I'm less than enthralled with a party noted for all of it's fiscally repugnant decisions from E-Health through to the Gas Plant scandal. I'm also loath to vote for the NDP due to Bobby Rae's having run this province once before and now they having made a pact with the devil by supporting the Lib's for no good reason other than to keep that Mike Harris and his "common sense" oxymoron parties accolyte Hudak out of the running.
They're all suffering from a moral deficit that we, the Ontario taxpaying voters seem to encourage with our blind obeyance to whoever promises us cookies and milk.
Now Wynne proposes to drive a freak'n spike through whatever lurching recovery Ontario has managed to fabricate by inducing a payroll tax in the name of matching contributions to employees RRSP's. Good move there Liberal's; send the remaining manufacturing base running for Mexico.
We desperately need a fourth party (other than a simpering Greenie) to put on a pedestal to teach these morons something about fickle loyalties being as temporary as the morning fog.

It would seem there are more people that think blankly cutting taxes solves a problem rather than those that think raising them does.
There are too few of us who have an honest discussion about what to raise, keep, or lower because the loudest voices are the ones that just shout cut cut cut without any consideration of the consequence.
Tell me how many times you hear anyone say tax tax tax.
