One of my nuttier political opinions.

There's no difference here as far as the drug is concerned. It's a recreational drug. One example shows moderation, and the other shows abuse of the same drug.

We could say the same thing about writers and their novels...

One is detrimental to health, the other generally isn't.

I should have said the driving destructive force in your life.

You've never heard of writers who are left by their beloved because of their obsession with the story?

There is no need to invent tragedy Ironsides, it's found everywhere. Even in good old fashioned wholesome fun.

We can't have people growing and smoking and being peaceful--are YOU out of your mind--Just like we don't want people making alcohol and driving their cars on it. We want BOOZE--that makes even nice people aggressive--Just like the Judge said 90% of domestic dispute cases involve Alcohol --MaryJane is not the home wrecker

People who have never laid a hand on someone, nor stole, or hurt anyone in anyway, but like to relax with a joint should no longer be considered criminals.

Ok, I now renounce the 'Death Penalty" as wrong. Let the criminals literally pay for their room and board.

Do the crime, pay for the time, as in $90 a day

"A one-night stay? Ninety dollars. Need to see a doctor? Ten bucks. Want toilet paper? Pay for it yourself.
In the ever-widening search for extra income during desperate economic times, states across the nation are embracing a new idea: making inmates pay their debt to society not only in hard time, but also in cold, hard cash."

Excellent idea, I'm just not sure if they have an abundance of high paying jobs in jail- but it would be good for the likes of Madoff.
