Russia isn’t know for its tolerance of dissent from its own people. I wonder how old that 17yr old girl (Olga Misik) will be when she’s released from custody next (?) or what will happen for Russian citizens when they’re caught with a flag missing that red stripe in their possession.

It was only recently that I recall an older Russian woman being arrested for having the wrong brand of purse (with a political slogan on the inside flap if I recall correctly).

Meanwhile, Russians who oppose Putin and his regime are, for the most part, growing quiet or fleeing the country — and that has not gone unnoticed in Moscow.

This is the family of a close friend. Her cousin Anatoly his wife Oksana and their kids.

She is raising funds to help them out. The girls went West and the men stayed behind to defend Kyiv.

If anyone is willing to help, PM me.

Zelenskyy is a shit actor, and he's pretending like he's in the middle of Kiev when he fled to Poland ages ago, HAHAHAAHHAAHAH
He could be a shit actor, Zelensky could also be a grifter, bought off, woke, an imposter, etc. But he is confirmed to be in Kyiv. He is the right President for this invasion crises, he has rallied the world to his cause even Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Norway and Finland are sending weapons for the first time ever in support of Ukraine. After it is all said and done let the voters decide if Zelensky is wrong for their country

Under-equipped Ukrainian firefighters 'blown away' by donated Alberta gear

A group of Edmonton firefighters and dispatchers delivered 600 protective suits to fire fighting crews in Ukraine along with other equipment like oxygen tanks, hoses and nozzles.

"The excitement you could see, and the disbelief in the faces of the firefighters, the administrators, when we would open the boxes," said Edmonton firefighter Kevin Royle, who spearheaded a local effort to collect the gear.

"I don't know what they were expecting, but it seemed that they were blown away by the quality of equipment we brought over." .....More

‘Iconic’ Saint Javelin helps fundraise over $1 million for Ukraine

March 26, 2022 11:58 pm by Alexander Query

“Saint Javelin” became a rallying sign of Ukraine’s resistance since Russia invaded on Feb. 24.

An Orthodox Madonna clad in green and cradling a Javelin anti-tank missile, the viral meme found a new use in the hands of Christian Borys, a Toronto marketer who was a journalist in Ukraine in 2014-2019.

Days before the war started, Borys created a $10 sticker out of the viral meme to help Ukrainian orphans in what he thought would be a modest contribution to Ukraine’s support relief. He also created a website, SaintJavelin.com, to sell those stickers online.

“The sticker was a fluke,” Borys told the Kyiv Independent.

He had initially set up a $30,000 goal for his charity. A month in, Borys raised over $1 million, an unexpected success for the entrepreneur turned charity worker. ....More
