You've no proof it was Ashley who presented these people with the diary. They list a whistleblower only getting their hands on the diary. COULD it have been her? Sure, it could have been Joe himself, or Jill or the Tooth Fairy... any of them are likely.
As for diaries being personal and not confidential - that's true, but if that legality was any kind of reason not to leak, why was it leaked anyway? With a whistleblower, a journalist has a right to protect that person so they don't have to reveal the source. Ashley could accuse anyone and there'd be no proof unless they admit it. And if National File ALREADY leaked the diary... then they've broken the law doing so.
If this was a real deal, this would have gone to more than just one right leaning group and at LEAST would have gone to tabloid.
That's why I'm of the opinion this a bunk story.
That being said, it could be true and if it is, as I said, something SHOULD be done about the accusations at least if Biden did do what is suggested he did.
