I think you should just vote PPC regardless. This guy isn't going to change anything when more than half of his crew is like O'Toole.

I think you’re off track as he’s a closet conservative. They’re like normal conservatives but they haven’t come out’a the closet yet.

Why else would he keep creating multiple threads on the same things with usually weak arguments so that he can be shown to be wrong with simple Google searches & a link? It’s a way to back-door those to step up and disprove him. It’s really quite cunning.
Good point , must be looking for a nice liberal Conservative party .

I'm saying that Doug Ford is an example of what you can expect from a federal candidate.

There's not much in the way of fiscal or social conservatism there.

Most of the country has moved so far left, that Conservatives can be considered pretty much centrist. We're basically Australia North.
No you are trying unsuccessfully to compare apples and oranges .

Leslyn Lewis announced on Tuesday that she will be entering the Conservative Party of Canada leadership race, becoming the second candidate to do so after Pierre Poilievre.

“I’m running to lead our party and our country based on Hope, Unity and Compassion,” she wrote on social media, with a video of a speech in the House of Commons blasting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his “failed leadership” in achieving these same goals.

It will be the second time Lewis will be running for leader. She finished third in the race in 2020, causing a surprise by raising more money and by gaining more support than expected, especially in Western Canada and among the social conservative wing of the party.

Yes, your point is?

His point is that Charest is just another leftist brain dead liberal wearing conservative clothing, mental. Charest is just another one of those socialists from kay-bec. It's not hard to tell that you are a lefty liberal alright, mental.

I hadn't heard of the guy so I went to look him up.

For me, he's questionable at best, for his Alliance and Reform affiliations.

I don't care that he was from the west itself.

Frankly I wouldn't mind a PM from the West, except that most of the time, the West is more going extreme right than anything, and for me that's not a Canada I want to live in.

Give me a decent, middle of the road Con from IDGAF Alberta and I'd vote for him... or, well, maybe, depends if his MP for my riding is decent as well.

ETA: I'm tired of these fucks from Quebec or Ontario, personally. I wish there was more choice out there.

Do you really want a middle of the road politician? Then vote for the PPC party even though the leader of that party is from kay-bec. Maxine Bernier is the only french man from kay-bec that talks common sense. While Bernier believes in real and true rights and freedoms, the rest believe in just the opposite, although I do believe that Pierre Poiliever would make a better leader for the conservative party because he does appear to be more like and talks like a conservative. If he became the leader of the conservative party, I may just have to have a second thought about who I will vote for in the next election. Just saying.

I couldn't stomach Pierre Poilievre's voice for 4 years. Also strikes me as that kid growing up who would take his ball home with him if he was losing the game.

And don't get me started on Charest. Is the Conservative Party so bereft of talent that the only choice is now between a smarmy upstart and a political dinosaur who farts government pension dust?

The conservative party needs to become a real and true conservative party once again like it use to be many many decades ago. For some u/k reason it seems like the now leftist liberal conservative party is trying to take on the liberal party for the win. Neither one of those two nitwit political party's today seems to not give a shit about Canada or Canadians anymore. They appear to now only work for the globalist establishment man. I cannot figure out right now as to who is giving the better bj to the man? So far, it looks like the turd is giving a better bj than did the past leader of the conservative party. Hey, we never know, eh? :D

That's the Twucktards. Stench kinda hangs in the air even after they're gone.

Nah, and as usual, you once again got it all wrong, chief t-bones. When the truckers were there the air had this sweet smelling aroma of rights and freedoms drifting all over Ottawa. Everybody was smelling like roses and they were partying on and having a good time. But now that they are gone, all that one can smell in Ottawa today is the not so sweet smell and stink of the leftist liberal establishment party back in Ottawa which has once again returned after the truckers have left. I can smell that stink of shit coming from liberal Ottawa all the way out to BC. It's a disgusting shitty smell indeed. You stink too. :ROFLMAO:

I guess that the stench of shit of liberalism will never leave Ottawa until your hero the turd and his merry band of stinking ilk get out of town forever. It's time for a real and true conservative party to come on in and start spraying Ottawa with the nice and sweet smelling scent of conservatism once again. (y)
