That has happened repeatedly to Tim Horton's in various places throughout our city and also one where a friend of mine goes daily. Twice within the last five years cars have driven through the glass hitting the table where they all sit only minutes after they have left. Any establishment that has cars pull frontward to park should have cement poles in front of them for safety.

There is zero reason not to have that safety mechanism in place.

In the video above, the car crashes through, backs up and then moves forward again. WTF?

I was wondering that as well. I assume that it was idiot mistaking gas for brake. But to back up then hit again? Unless he/she intended to just back out but thought after starting to back up that he/she should stay where he/she wound up.

perhaps he misunderstood what drive though meant. ;)

You have to be a special kind of stupid to think it would meant that! 8O

Didn't do much good here at the Costco where that little girl was killed.

the last guy that drove through the Tims window was an old guy...drove through, backed out, parked, walked into Tims and said, Sh*t my wife is going to f*cking kill me, give me a coffee while the cops come

well, that's true, I'd forgotten those cements were already in place

she wasn't parking though, she had a run at it

at least when they are parking they've slowed somewhat and the cement would have to help

She was backing out of a parking spot I believe.

And apparently the culprit there is..........flip flop got stuck.

Yeah maybe she'd backed into the parking spot, I can't recall right now. Just know that she was pulling out of a parking spot when it happened.

Geez this stuff happens in Australia like every second day... If it's not a Restaurant, it's a House.... if it's not a House, it's something else.

You get used to it.

Too many roundabouts is the problem I think. Drivers get dizzy spinning around in circles too much.

I know. They're always upside down too. Blood pools in the brain I guess.

Wow, what is this? The Australian national pastime? Drinking beer and shooting kangaroos getting dull?

I think drinking beer and shooting kangaroos at the same time as driving is what's causing it..... damn things can turn on a dime and hard to keep on sight.

Could also be those damn Drop Bears

Damn things come out of nowhere.
