So, "for the children" strikes again.

If you dress up as a woman and are a man, or a man and you are a woman, a second time of doing so will get you 1-6 years?

Guess entertainment like music and movies won't be shown in Tennessee anymore (Mrs. Doubtfire anyone? Harry Styles?)

So much for Republicans being the party of "Small Government". Now they're saying to some people - you can't wear that! - and to others - you're not allowed to watch those kinds of shows.

It obviously won't survive the first Constitutional challenge, but performative hatred is what the Republican Party is all about.

Makes me wonder if they'll arrest all women who wear pants or anything 'non feminine'? I mean, what IS male clothing, and what's female clothing?

If drag queens didn't get off on dressing up things might be different.

Transvestic fetishism

Transvestic fetishism is a psychiatric diagnosis applied to men who are thought to have an excessive sexual or erotic interest in cross-dressing; this interest is often expressed in autoerotic behavior. It differs from cross-dressing for entertainment or other purposes that do not involve sexual arousal. Under the name transvestic disorder, it is categorized as a paraphilia in the DSM-5.[1]

Performers and civil rights groups have condemned the proposed drag regulations, saying they are unconstitutional, redundant under existing obscenity laws, and would lead to further harassment and violence against gay and transgender people.
Yep, that's the point.

Sad that the people of Tennessee will now be forbidden to enjoy all the above singers and actors
Aren't those already rated 14 up and 18 and up?

Why is Rocky Horror Picture Show Rated R?

All equal to me. There are many more reasons to ban churches besides being pedophile central. Most wars have been over who had the better gawd. Burning witches, who for the most part were single women that had some assets and wouldn't marry the fat old guy the village demanded. The list is long.

Works for me. And any other organization or part of an organization that covers up a crime. That's called "accessory."

In the U.S., more abuse is reported of Protestant clergy than Catholic (hardly surprising, the country is majority Protestant). The reason holding the Catholic church to account is so difficult is because of its coordination and unitary command structure.
