My Jebus I have to stop repping people on my phone.... Those tiny little thumbs are hard to hit right.

That was.supposed to be a thumb up, sorry.

I can agree that his response was a bit excessive, but I also understand his position.

Bullies need to learn there are consequences for their actions.... And while some may think it was a bit heavy handed to pepper spray her, keep in mind that Bullying is just an over simplified term for Harassment.... And if a guy kept harassing a girl over and over like this girl did, he'd get peppered too

Bullying takes a whole new look when you call it for what it really is.. Harassment.

And the term Bullying is too vague of an identifier and dumbs it down as something trivial.

Either way I'm sure this would be a good method of making her think that she should leave him the hell alone for now on.

Oh and the Halifax Shopping Centre?

I did signs for the building.... All those green signs with those lighter green and grey swoops?

*raises hand* ;)
I have a reason to visit the big H now.

My 6 year old son was being bullied by some older kids, they were around 9 or 10, he asked me one morning if I would stand with him at the bus stop so they wouldn't bother him, so I stood there and watched as these kids ( with there parents standing there) started in with my son, taunting him, pulling his back pack off....etc. I of course told the kids to piss off and confronted the parents, both mothers and fathers, and told them if this continued they would be dealing with me and that I would rectify the situation very quickly.

About an hour later the RCMP was ringing my door bell and were going to charge me with assault, they said that kids will be kids and I should not approach the parents and verbaly assault them again, no charges were laid thankfully.

But those kids never botherd him again..:)

Hmmmm.... don't pepper spray a 14 year old girl is the same thing as 'never do anything'?

I meant to hit thumbs up!!! Sorry. I don't know how to undo it. I agree with you that a 39 year old man pepper spraying a 14 year old girl is not acceptable and has nothing to do with doing "nothing".

A 39 year old adult should know that using pepper spray in reaction to offencive and bullying words is wrong, abuse of his greater power and strength as an adult.

I would have begged the cop to lay charges on me. I can only imagine how the parents would respond to being dragged into court and having the details of their kids behavior and their lack of decent parenting skills made quite public as I would invite every member of the press I could find to come enjoy the show.

Nobodies been born that didn't have the invaluable services of a petty tyrant bully. He or she is there for you. Life is hard, lessons come early, you should know how and when to fight. That's why you can make a fist. Stand up or get shoved out of the line. Birds do it bugs do it and sooner or later humans have to do it. That dosn't mean a big friend can't be engaged to help, it just means it's going to happen and you have to deal with it. Fight or flight, there is no other law.
