You know, I was thinking exactly that today. I was not a Clinton supporter at first, but he sort of grew on me.

Well I thought his name Slick Willy fit perfectly but he knew how to work with a Republican congress. He got a lesson his first term mid-terms when the Democrats got smoked because of their arrogance. He learned from it and adapted. He was the Teflon Don of politicians.

This batch of new Liberal Democrats are a nasty bunch. Massachusetts showed the Democrats what to expect if they keep carrying on that way. This state is about as Liberal as you're going to find.

Who saying he's not getting anything done? Republicans?...It's not democrates..He's got a Peace prize...Sent out some stimulus ..He's open for discussion ..Transparent to the people .Is willing to work with anyone with a solution to all that ails the U.S...He got handed quite a load full of B.S.. from Bush and friends ..

I'V Never seen a president so open to the people .It's refreshing

Republicans tend to like to tear everything a part without having any solution or plan on how they would put it all together again ..

Where the stimulus money is going - CNN.com -

See ..Cnn's keeping track

Things will change ..It will all come togther for Obama in the end .As long as the G.O.P ..and ol' Bush mates don't pull anymore underhanded stunts...Fear mongering

Terrorist attack is "highly likely" security services say - Telegraph

Prevention is the key ..Without exploiting fear unnecessarily..

Obama has definitely lost the independent voters. His stupid insistence on giving over a trillion in corporate welfare to the wealthy, his escalation of Bush's wars, his refusal to end Bush's tax cuts, his spending freeze on important domestic matters, his catering to Wall Street and the bankers all prove he is a Republican, not a Democrat.

That's why Walter no longer attacks him with the virulence he used to do. And that's why his popularity numbers are down.

I suspect it is due to the different way the media in Canada treats politicians compared to the way they are treated in the US. Americans are constantly bombarded with hour by hour and day by day criticism of everything their president does even if he is doing the right thing, like trying to reform the US health care system. This simply does not happen in Canada - at least to the same extent. The fact that a great deal of the commentary directed at Obama is highly distorted and inaccurate doesn't help either.

Also Canadians are watching from a distance. He is not our president so we sit back and judge him by what he actually does and the opposition he faces. This will tend to give us a more favourable impression of him It also does not hurt Obama that he is succeeding G.W. Bush who may be the worst president in US history. Or at least in the top five bad presidents.

Everyone...even the Democrats.

He's got a Peace prize...

Which is a joke since he's the CIC for two wars. One of which he said he would stop.

Sent out some stimulus ..

Which is being gobbled up and hoarded save for executive bonuses and corporate welfars. The US is still losing jobs and it is only getting worse.

He's open for discussion ..Transparent to the people.

Transparent? Are you kidding? He is taking so much heat for promising transparency and has not been transparent at all.

Is willing to work with anyone with a solution to all that ails the U.S...

Only within the last week since he read the writing on the wall after Massachusetts sent a Republican Senator to Washington in the seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy for 47 years.

He got handed quite a load full of B.S.. from Bush and friends ..

He wanted it and said he could fix it.

I'V Never seen a president so open to the people .It's refreshing

You're just dazzled by his charisma. He's no more open than any other.

Republicans tend to like to tear everything a part without having any solution or plan on how they would put it all together again ..

How's the Kool-Aid?

They also reported this morning that we are losing more jobs.

Things will change ..It will all come togther for Obama in the end .As long as the G.O.P ..and ol' Bush mates don't pull anymore underhanded stunts...Fear mongering

Stunts? What stunts exactly are they pulling?

News Flash...Obama is in charge of security and security releases now. The GOP no longer pulls the strings.

Pelosi on Obama when questioned about transparency.

"He stood for a lot of things on the campaign trail."

Does any of this really matter?. Whoever the media want to get elected will get elected anyway.
And there in lies the real fallacy of democracy. The rich and the corporate masters chose who you get to vote for and what they are allowed to do.

Obama was elected with 58% of the population voting for him.

His approval rating now is 46%.

Losing 12% of one's supporters is a success story only in the eyes of the permanenly blind worshippers.

Have you heard that he was referring to the "CORPS MEN" (for the idiots, it is pronounced "core men") not once, not twice but three times. Of course, as Commander-in-Chief, it is his prerogative to liken his fighting men to undertakers.

Remember the guffaw by the MSM and like-minded intellectuals, every time when GW Bush pronounced "nuclear" as "NUCULAR"? Where are the MSM and the like-minded intellectuals now?

Yes he was calling corpsmen... Corpse Men. That is the CIC. He did that three times actually.
