I got the shot for two reasons, I had chicken pox when I was 12 and my mother suffered terribly with shingles shortly before she died. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET THAT DISEASE!

Techinically you and I already have the disease. Shingles is the secondary infection of Herpes zoster, with the primary infection being termed Chicken Pox. In the exact same way, cold sores are the secondary infections of Herpes simplex with the primary infection being termed foot and mouth disease. After primary infection the both viruses lay dormant in nerve cells where immune cells do not reach them. It is not known what causes the viruses to become active again.

Unfortunately I am a carrier of both. If I ever have children I will have them vaccinated for chicken pox directly. Now I wonder why there isn't a herpes simplex vaccine...

 New Republican strategy after that huge disappointment from the Supreme Court, repeal the healthcare reforms because rights come from nature and God. Oh, according to the Declaration of Independence...which is neither part of nature or God. Yet Ryan and the House Republicans are going to advance patient-centered reforms, presumably without government telling the market what to do...

You FAILED Gopher. I made you look like a fool once again. Moving the goal post will not help you.

Better luck next time.

No Eagle, once again - you failed.

We won and your pal Judge Roberts agrees with us. So now get over it. If you must, sit in a corner and cry. But whether you like it or not, many lives will be saved through this limited reform. Soon enough as more peoples lives are saved you will come around just like your heroine Ayn Rand did. Remember the one who said she NEVER believed in government "entitlements" but who went broke and took government money? Every year there are thousands just like her. Say a few prayers and ask that the next one won't be you.

If that's the case, then let Ryan give up the free health care coverage he gets at taxpayer expense.

PWNED

That research of all those dead Americans came from Harvard Medical research, not the news media. Therefore, you again have made yet another,

BIG TIME FAIL

Hey Dumb azz... Did you read the article?

Here is a an exerpt...

"That the famous study by the Harvard Medical School and Cambridge Health Alliance has been a reliable Democrat talking point for months. But its estimate that 44,789 "excess deaths" are associated with lack of health insurance annually is rarely questioned by the media. They should be."

Suck on that BIG TIME FAIL!

Let's recap. lol. Libtard

Considering you need a Canadian Health Card to get free health care in Canada. If they do get health care in Canada they will be billed.

I really do wonder if you make some of these posts because you enjoy being corrected. Anyone who shows up at a Canadian drop in clinic is asked for their health care card, but if they don't have one they are unlikely to be turned away. They will be given the treatment they asked for and then asked to bring it in next time. Of course, all they do is go to a different drop in clinic next time. If the city is large enough they can play this game several times and get away with it. People who use this little trick simply use a dummy Canadian address. Barring that, they can always head for a hospital emergency ward. Staff at those facilities are used to patients showing up without health care cards and will give them whatever treatment is required whether they have a card or not. Here is a little article you might find enlightening.

Americans Filching Free Health Care in Canada - New York Times

I noticed that you very conveniently ignored my comment about Americans heading to Mexico and other countries for affordable medical care. I suspect that is because there really is nothing you can say to that. Happily for you both situations may decrease in the future due to the fact that the US will now have universal health coverage for the first time in its history. You can thank Mr. Obama for that.

Sorry to baffle you with facts. It is a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

From your own article...

"Only legal residents qualify for free medical care in Canada, using plastic health cards for identification. Others are supposed to pay for medical services they may require, ....."

Do you have anything else that I can turn it upside down?

Do I need to go and get articles of Canadian hospitals sending patients across the border because they do not have medical tech that US hospitals have? The Canadian Govt. paying cash to treat their politicians?

Anyone who shows up for medical treatment in the US gets it. The Mexican one was funny. Funny that you have to use Americans that have retired to and now live in Mexico to prop up your flailing. Whereas, S California and hospitals the SW are over run and swamped with Mexicans.

We can go on and on.

I guess you really were upset huh?

Sooo...let me get this straight.....a fine is now a tax, to force the people of the lower middle class to buy a product, despite the fact the Congress denies it is a tax, but it is not a tax only on those least able to afford it, unless it is constitutionally challenged, then it is a tax only for those who can't afford it.

Have I gotten this straight now???

No wonder it took the idiots of the SCOTUS 230 years to come close to reading the Second Amendment correctly.

Outrageous.

The SJC made the decision... they had the final say...it is a tax. A HUGE tax on a portion of the middle class.

But Congress can repeal a tax.

The legal definition of a tax-which is not the same thing as the economic definition- was not invented last week. Go read the decision for yourself, or try reading some law.

Well, it looks like the reichstard wants to get the last word in on this even though he's been beaten.

OK, I'll be the bigger man and let you have the last word. But just a reminder - you lost both here and before your very own right wing supreme court which voted with the patriots against your side. Yes, I know it hurts - but learn to deal with it if can ever develop enough adult character to do so.

Now go ahead and get the last word in _________________

You're so easy to defeat. Did you read the rest of the article? It clearly points out that Americans in Canada are receiving medical care illegally, so whether what they do is legal or not is irrelevant. The point is, and the article supports it, is that many Americans cross the border into Canada to leach off the Canadian system.

As for treatment of Americans in Mexico I was not referring to Americans who go their for vacation or who are part time residents. I was referring to the many who go to Mexico for treatment they cannot afford in the US. You can check the article below as a reference or even better Google "Medical tourism in Mexico" for the hundreds of ads inviting Americans to travel across the border to receive affordable medical treatment there.

The giant sucking sound of Mexican medical tourism | SmartPlanet

And yes, some Canadians are sent across the border for medical treatment in the US, but this is provided as part of Canada's health care service. No one said that the US doers not offer excellent medical service; what is being discussed here is the millions of pre-Obama Americans who were excluded from it due to a viable health care plan.

As for going on and on; I expect you can, but you might actually want to back up your posts with facts.

BTW, I don't get upset over posts by the uninformed. I quite enjoy pointing out their errors. Keep 'em coming. You're simply making my day.

Oh I read the article. And here you were earlier talking about how our poor and middle class are being welcomed with loving arms by generosity of Canada when in fact that it is just some people leeching off your health care system with fraudulent Canadian Health Cards. My how your argument has shifted in these past few days.

Ahhh Medical Tourism in Mexico. Yes, getting a tummy tuck in Mexico and dental implants are cheaper. You see for the most part Cosmetic Surgery is not covered under Health Care and it is simply cheaper. Again it is not sick poor and middle class flooding Mexico. It is Americans getting boob jobs on the cheap.

Let's see. Apparently you think the use of the juvenile term "Big Time Fail" make you right. Perhaps you have had some success with it in the local playground. It is quite unfortunate that you don't bother to back up the term with any facts regarding my posts. Instead you continually try to draw the thread of course with non sequiturs. My source said nothing about cosmetic surgery. Instead it pointed out the fact that many Americans go to Mexico for basic health care as the following article reports. You are clutching at straws in your failing attempt to stay afloat in this debate, but you are already over your head.

BTW I don't really expect you to read the article. Apparently you have not bothered to read anything else.
