He doesn't do anything. He gambles and hopes he doesn't get sick. If he does he gets a bill and he pays or works out a payment plan.
Who finances his payment plan?

I guess you haven't heard what McCain is saying about this bill.

If the US is now a socialist country, then most of the world is red commie. How do you guys manage in such a world?
As for geographical size, that has little to do with it. Ever hear of a federal system? You just layer it and decentralize it to the local community. Bingo, problem solved.

Depends upon who you talk to, Machjo. according to some teabaggers, it is a Socialist country, according to others it is a Communist country.
I have been reading Townhall for the last couple of days, and according to many teabaggers, USA has already made full transition to Communism. They expect Obama to cancel the 2010 elections.
There is altogether to much inane nonsense being sprouted about who is better off according to how much money they earn. If I have a couple cows, a few hogs, a vegetable garden, some fruit trees a gun and a fishing pole and some chickens I may well be better off than someone with a huge salary. Money actually has very little to do with it.
Do you have any idea what the IMF is, does or how they are viewed by most of the countries that have sought to get out from under their thumb? So far I wrote from my assessment as to what constitutes a developed and developing country (per capita income, or thanks to juan, per capita GDP). But I decided to look into it further. Here is a list of developing countries, according to International Monetary Fund.
Developing country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This list includes India and China as developing countries. That ends the matter right there for me, in spite what some of the self appointed experts here think (not that I had any doubt that I was right in the first place).
Now, no doubt there are some here who think (sorry, they ‘know’) that they are in a better position to judge than IMF, that is there right. But as far as I am concerned, India and China are very much developing countries, because they have very low per capita income and because IMF says so.
Incidentally, the list also includes Russia. So I was right on all counts, India, China, Russia, they are all developing countries.
But then again, maybe not
In other words, the only measure of being developed is how much wealth the country has, except when it's not, in which case it's GDP. Or not, in which case it's per capita income. Or not.
Erroneously.Quite. You are one of the self appointed experts I was talking about, who 'knows' that he is better qualified to judge which is a developed or developing country than IMF. So although IMF says that India and China are developing countries, in your opinion they are developed countries. And of course, you are right, IMF is wrong.
Per capita income (or per capita GDP) is the sole indicator of whether a country is a developed or a developing country.
A disparity in the wealth of families has no bearing on the wealth, power and development of a nation. China is a great economic power regardless of what they pay the lady making juice machines.
Which raises another question (at least in Canada it would) under our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, I'm not sure that a person can be compelled to have insurance for anything, with the exception of where the endangerment of others is involved. But I'm not an expert on the Charter, but we have a resident expert who claims to be.
Another self appointed expert. Sigh! So what are you qualification over that of IMF, that we should believe you and disbelieve IMF? Should we disregard IMF and take your word for it that India and china are developed countries?
China is very much a poor country, when one takes into account its huge population.

When we voted in President Obama, we voted to have a Socialist State, he was right up front with everything he intended to do. This is nothing new, now we have to figure out how to take the country back from his kind of politics.
China and India are technologically as advanced as the U.S., and Canada. Yes they are developed countries and no more backward than we are. You have to stop looking down upon them, yes again the IMF is just a bunch on snobs and are yes wrong. GDP may work with our forms of goverment, but it is not a goodindicator in China or India.
