They do count them all. It has just reached a point where the mathamatical possibility of Romney winning is smaller than winning the lotto without buying a ticket.
I can't remember an election in years - Canadian or American - where they haven't predicted a win for someone before all the votes were counted.
The election is over if you look at voter trends of who votes where and when it is a done
deal. The doubters of Obama never really saw this coming the gut feeling was in the air.
The reason such predictions can be made is because the Republicans won the county
and rural centers with big margins but they could win in the metropolitan areas and the
vote tallies will not change enough the Democrats gave Romney the old rural right and
settled into the urban entrenched areas they also got over a million more black voters
to actually vote.

Well I guess Teddy & friends are crying in their beverages (well Teddy is probably close to suicide) and making vows to finally prove the birther issue and impeach Obama as well as thwart his policies at every turn. Tomorrow they will start the campaign rhetoric for 2016 which means we will have 4 years to listen to more right-wing crap. I hope everyone is happy now another puppet is back in the white house...nothing is going to change, the economy will continue to stagnate if not tank further and Americans will be no better off than they were yesterday. When will people realize the whole 2 party thing is a fraud and an illusion of choice.
