mentalfloss, I do not quote Rassmussen any more, because I have been told several times by uninformed miscreants that Rasmussen is a water carrier for the Republican Party. So, to avoid any confrontation, even though I know that Rasmussen is the most relible, objective and accurate polling firm, I don't bother to change the unchangable idiots.

Here is a collection of recent polls:

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Obama Job Approval

I still don't see any mention of a recent poll which takes into account the black perspective. The latest data is from May 2009.

Also, looks like he had a pretty good approval rating all through his presidency until July, everything went red. That seems a bit suspect to me. It doesn't appear to be a clear indicator of his performance when the only real disapproval occurs near the mid-terms.

Slightly off-topic, but what the Heck, it is interesting and perhaps revealing???

It has been said that you can tell a person by his friends. Well how about his wife:

Something that would, could and should send a chill of the sine of both President Obama AND Sarah Palin:

Miscreants - That is the term that China uses for everything from crime to the fellow that won the Nobel Peace prize.

Obama was handed the biggest dung pile in American history, and it was up to him
to clean up. Actually he has done a good job. If they had not done the bailouts the
economy would have completely collapsed and the world would have found itself in
a depression for a long time. It was not enough though, and there will need to be
another round of stimulus. The problem, printing more money, inflation, and the
risk. Without it the country could end up like Japan. That country has face nearly
twenty years of recession. The whole problem came about because Americans
put Gilligan in charge of the Island, for eight long years. Bush, the only way he tried
to solve the problem was to give consumers six hundred dollars each to go shopping.
If Democrats lose the house and senate, they will pay big time in the long run.

Actually what Obama is doing is not all that much different from what Bush was doing. Of the two I think I'd prefer Bush' approach, giving the money to the people (to direct to companies that give the biggest bang for the buck) over baling out bankrupt companies. To give Obama credit it seems to be working to a degree but the rule of thumb is you don't go pouring money into companies that aren't fiscally competent. Bottom line is Obama has been working on a mess for two years that probably took 20 to create. I'd say 99% of the original fault lies with greedy C.E.O.s like Ken Lay and Bernie Madoff and actually had bugger all to do with Bush. Bush didn't give mortgages to people who had no way of repaying them.

Obama voluntarily signed onto this mess. It was no secret that the cupboards were bare when he was running for president.

I can appreciate that he was handed a tough nut to crack, but blaming the last administration was how he got elected. Blaming the last administration for his current mismanagement is nothing more than an excuse.

Obama is a socialist and elitist.

The sooner he and his fat wife get the hell out of the White House the better.

Obama won the election by enpowering US..By pumpin US up ....."Yes We can" ( and we are)..."Time for change."( The Change is Good) ..

All the Obamania ...The Obamaniacs........With unanimous applause...Cheering in their new leader....Remember?....

The Majority ruled Obama President of The U.S of America..

There was no need For Obama to blame the Bush Administration for Crumbling the American Economy ...Everyone else already was...

You tellin me you would rather have the Tea Baggart/Republicans runnin' the country....?.Rather Than A Competent/Capable President, like Obama ....

..Lord/God Help US..All ..

Obama is a Great political Leader ....That's Why he's President ...

,

Um, Bush did the bailouts. The TARP program was set up in the fall of 2008, signed into law by President Bush.
