LOL, Carter is a busy man, you think he has time to bang hammers for 8 hours on every Habitat for Humanity site? Be real.

You're an Ed Schreyer supporter? I didn't think crazy fox news people would approve of anyone in Trudeau's cabinet

This post shows a doubt that liberals like CUBert have no idea about the REAL world.

Yes, I worked along Ed Schreyer, building fences in Regina in 1998 in Regina, Saskathewan, for a Habitat for Humanity project.

I have pictures to prove it. When I worked with him, I told him about the the the phony Carter for four swings of a hammer. He smiled.

News for CUBert and his ideological crazy soul-mates: There were no internet then, but there was Kodak.

Bloodstained Mavi Marmara by ?efik Dinç | Israel Right Side News

How about in Turkish???

Kanlý Mavi Marmara / M. Þefik Dinç - Hürriyet Kitap/CD

Don't you ever get tired of making a fool of yourself?

“the brother who was shot through the leg, just one meter in front of me; the one shot through the abdomen 50 centimeters to the right of me. Where we were, there were no Israeli commandos within the immediate proximity. It is simply unfeasible for anyone to maintain that the people who fired those shots from above, not within our line of sight, in any sense could feel threatened by the two men who were shot either side of me. Simply unfeasible. A complete and utter lie. It’s also a lie in the shooting dead of Cevdet Kiliçlar, a young man who left a wife and two children, a photographer, he was holding a stills camera, again, not one Israeli commando within the immediate vicinity, but he was shot through the forehead, the high-velocity bullet blowing away the back third of his skull, cradled by a friend of mine, as the last two seconds of his life passed away.”

Activists Recount Events on the Mavi Marmara Flotilla Massacre Passengers Testimonies

Ken O’Keefe, former US Marine, Gulf War veteran, and now survivor of the Mavi Marmara massacre, has issued a remarkable and searing statement from Istanbul. “While in Israeli custody I, along with everyone else, was subjected to endless abuse and flagrant acts of disrespect. Women and elderly were physically and mentally assaulted. Access to food and water and toilets was denied. Dogs were used against us, we ourselves were treated like dogs. We were exposed to direct sun in stress positions while hand cuffed to the point of losing circulation of blood in our hands. We were lied to incessantly, in fact I am awed at the routineness and comfort in their ability to lie, it is remarkable really. We were abused in just about every way imaginable and I myself was beaten and choked to the point of blacking out… and I was beaten again while in my cell. In all this what I saw more than anything else were cowards… and yet I also see my brothers. Because no matter how vile and wrong the Israeli agents and government are, they are still my brothers and sisters and for now I only have pity for them. Because they are relinquishing the most precious thing a human being has, their humanity.
O’Keefe was a human shield in Iraq who formally renounced his US citizenship in protest in 2001; he now has Irish as well as Palestinian citizenship. On the morning of the attack, as he describes it, he was “directly involved in the disarming of two Israeli Commandos. This was a forcible, non-negotiable, separation of weapons from commandos who had already murdered two brothers that I had seen that day.” Subsequently brutalised by the Israeli military, he is defiant: “I challenge any critic of merit, publicly, to debate me on a large stage over our actions that day. I would especially love to debate with any Israeli leader who accuses us of wrongdoing, it would be my tremendous pleasure to face off with you. All I saw in Israel was cowards with guns, so I am ripe to see you in a new context“.

Investigation for on-board weapons

The Israeli military said that in addition to medical aid and construction materials, they found knives, clubs, slingshots, bulletproof vests, gas masks, and night vision goggles aboard the Mavi Marmara.[52] A statement released by the Foreign Affairs Minister of Israel claimed that violence against the soldiers was pre-planned, and that "light weaponry" was found on the ships, including pistols that had been seized from IDF commandos. Israel stated that the naval forces "found weapons prepared in advance and used against our forces."[171][172] IDF photos displayed daggers, kitchen and pocket knives, metal and wooden poles, flares, wrenches and slingshots with marble projectiles said to have been used against the soldiers.[text 4][173] The activists were said to have also lobbed stun grenades at IDF soldiers, and the IDF furnished video reflecting this.[174] An activist said that it would have been impossible to have firearms on board because "all the boats were carefully inspected by the government before they left the port of departure."[175] Turkish officials supported the activists' account, stating that every passenger that had left Turkey had been searched with X-ray machines and metal detectors before boarding. Senior officials in the Customs Undersecretariat called the Israeli statements tantamount to "complete nonsense".[67]

Because it is ridiculous.

When you are attacked with lengths of pipe and knives, lethal force is absolutely an acceptable response.

The real world? What do you know about that? You think Jimmy Carter has the time to sit and hammer nails in for 8 hours?
Who cares, it's such a menial thing and to accuse him of the worst president ever because of it is sheer stupidity... This man went to North Korea and freed an American prisoner.

Because it is ridiculous.

That's not likely what happened. You're trusting Israel's word on what happened, not too smart. Because clearly they have reasons to cover up any wrong doings, the activists have a lot less to lose from telling the truth.

also, you didn't read this apparently

Jimmy Carter is RETIRED and has been since he he has been unceremoniously booted out of the office he never earned in the first place by a MAN that a pathetic peanut farmer like Carter could not hold a candle to.

Jimmy Carter made a second career after the miserably failed first one of pretending to hammer nails. Those of us who saw and worked alongside of this pathetic nobody and know that the "WORK" was done by anyone but old Arab-loving, America-hating Jimmy Carter.

Those in doubt would be advised to read the great book listed by the Library of Congress as ISBN 0-89526-090-5. If they even know how to look it up.

Enjoy!

The Real Jimmy Carter: How Our Worst Ex-President Undermines American Foreign Policy, Coddles Dictators and Created the Party of Clinton and Kerry

Hehe, already this book I can tell is garbage. First of all, undermines American Foreign Policy? GOOD! America's foreign policy is horribly evil and despicable.
Coddles dictators? Lmao, you think Chavez is a dictator because Fox News told you, don't give me this line of bull****..

Okay, I'll deal with this sillyness........

Sniper.

Theft from passengers

Several passengers had charges made to their confiscated debit cards and cell phones. Israel pledged to investigate the issue.[213] An IDF officer and three soldiers were arrested by Israeli Military Police and charged with stealing laptops and cell phones from passengers.[214]

Oh come on!

They were at SEA! Sniper from where? A helicopter? Tough shooting from THAT platform, let me tell ya........and it would be in their line of sight, AND it would have to be very close.

And a number of the victims were shot in the back of the head......consistent with a commando attacking the victim as they were beating or stabbing a comrade.....very inconsistent with sniping.

And the wounds.....ever see a rifle wound? Major difference between that and a 9mm handgun........

Not even close to sensible.

The obvious conclusion from the inconsistencies of their claims is that their claims are simply not credible.....either because of their shock, or because they were lying.

Yeah well, that is nonsense.

First of all, my understanding is that all the firearms on board (Handguns, as they were carrying paintball guns up) were taken from the commandos................when they were attacked with knives and pieces of pipe. Things they DIDN'T have to smuggle on board, they would already be there.

Secondly, bullet resistant vests are made of kevlar, and do not give a alarming signature when x-rayed....or why would they even prevent them from taking on vests???

Thirdly, there are certainly ways to get any weapon around security..........especially when they are sympathetic to "the cause".

This is especially stupid, x-rays aren't meant for vests, a simple pat down would discover anyone wearing a vest.

Didn't you hear?

Canadian conservatives support the same borders along with the rest of the world.

I know it is hard to believe, but American's don't always really care what other countries believe, even Canadian conservatives. They are not usually conservative enough, more like our average centrist democrat.

Not really.
In today's troubled times, we are seeing an increase in attacks upon executives around the world.
