... but, as always, it's BLAME OBAMA!!
What happened to the "he wasn't born here" crowd?
Oh they are out there. His birth records have not been released. I wonder how much truth there is to that.
It is strange that they won't release them. I personally don't think it matters but I am sort of curious to know if he was born in Kenya.
Hopefully, they realized that McCain wasn't 'naturally born' in the US, and crawled back under their rocks. What happened to the "he wasn't born here" crowd?
He's already in now. Agreed ... if the interests of the nation are at heart, what difference does it make from whence he/she hails?

No it didn't really confuse me... I was merely pointing out that the "apartied" policies of the South were of Democrat origin. It was the "nasty, war mongering, hate filled" Republicans that turned this around... like Ike.
The truly nasty hate filled Democrat Gov. of Arkansas sent in the Arkansas National Guard to keep 9 black HS students out of school and the Republican President sent in the 101st to make sure they got in.
Nice try. It was Kennedy and Johnson ("new" Democrats) who championed civil rights.
Prior to that, the term "democrat" had more to do with state vs. federal jurisdiction and the power of a centralized gov't.
The "old" democrats (George Wallace, Huey Long, etc) were Democrat in name only. They were the leaders of segregation and persecution.
They have far more in common with today's RNC than they do with the Democratic Party of today

Hey Tyr, your confusing the apologists with a refreshing infusion of reality. But, brace youself for the predictable backlash. I hear the swish of sheets...
Well they have to spin it somehow. Roberts sounded clear to me. Obama was most likely urinating in his pants.
You've done so well with your attempt to post a topic.... don't feel embarassed to try again though
Nice try? It was a fact and it was LBJ who championed Civil Rights more than JFK. A leopard can't change his spots and it was the Democrats that ran apartied in the South. You can't say it was only in name because it wasn't. It was the Southern Democrats that got JFK elected. Support from those RACIST Democrat Governors.
Eisenhower was a Republican and he sent the troops in after a Democrat Governor called in the Arkansa Natl Guard to keep the young black students out.
How quick you forget the Chicago Democrat National Convention in 1968. The riots made worse by Democrat Mayor Daly...
"THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!"
So nice try.
