The city of Nuevo Laredo is living true hell tonight, Friday night, between shootings, blockades and vehicles burning by organized crime in retaliation for the supposedly arrest of Juan Gerardo Treviño Chávez, "El Huevo Treviño", leader of the Cartel del Noreste or Northeast Cartel ; although other rumors are floating that he was actually killed by security forces a couple of hours ago. Without specifying details of his identity, what was confirmed was the death of one sicario and seizure of a vehicle along with weapons. One vehicle, 5 long guns, one of them being a Barrett and various loaded magazines; One sicario dead and no arrests.



They need to send the military in there

Who goes missing will clear up who is behind it. 7 days after a headline appears the full story is more or less known as the rebuttals to the immediate claims will have surfaced by then.
I tend to go with the ones who have the Company Farms and the Black Market connections are the ones who are pulling the strings for the whole area rather than there are 'local events'. They tend to have a scorched earth policy everyplace they go.

Might I suggest to take a drive to Sonora and Chihuahua, Mexico. Really worth the drive.. Just rent a SUV and enjoy the scenery..
