Hi, I'm another recipient from the land of Oz. I use the internet all the time for purchases, so it would have been quite simple to track me down for my "unique gifts." I guess they're a busy bunch. My letter was from Kirsten, and I also have until an undisclosed Friday to reply, either via post or fax. I feel, however, that if I post it, and then they post this illuminating book back to me, that I will have already missed that all important window available for my cycle two opportunity. Oh well.

One of the things I notice is that the whole focus of joining this supposed elite, secret society, is to achieve personal power and success... there is nothing about using this power for others, or improving the world, or anything else to that effect. It is set out to appeal to the greedy... although of course there are those who would no doubt choose to pursue this 'power' with the objective of helping others.

Anyway, I was really pleased to find this forum so that I could discover that there are others who are equally as special as I am :toothy5:

The only disappointment has about this thread is that Invester 25 seems to be weighed down by a pretty big chip on his/her shoulder. The U.S. is a very large and outspoken country, so of course you will be able to boast many members of the best and worst behavioural groups that the world has to offer. And, due to the country's self promotion, these people/qualities/however you want to categorise, are going to be remembered more prominantly internationally. Be a big boy/girl and take it in your stride. Australia isn't perfect, but at least we can take a joke about ourselves... hell, we make most of them!

That being said, I have lived and worked in the US (travelled the West Coast and lived in Seattle), and found many wonderful people, as I have in many countries. So, accuse me of hating the U.S. if you want to, but that will be based on your prejudices, rather than mine.

Wow, didn't expect a reply so fast!
I was just cruising the net and found that we also have a local warning about this group posted on the internet. When I say local, I am being pretty flexible, as it was posted by the Western Australian government, on the west coast, and I am a Banana Bender (Queenslander), on the East Coast.
Anyway, the posting is at: (... insert drum roll here)

Thanks for the welcome Haggis McBagpipe (did I mention my scottish heritage and trusty scottish hound??), and sorry Zoofer... a girl's gotta maintain a bit of mystery...

He, He, I have just got another letter from Nuova Tech Society saying the powers will only work if I apply within 7 days.
Thats funny as it is the second letter I've had off them saying the powers will only work if I apply within 7 days. The last one was over 6 weeks ago  . They said I wouldn't hear from them again if I didn't apply to the last message over 6 weeks ago. 8O

Nuova Tech... If you read this message, send a copy of your 553 page book to Alan from Carlisle in the UK and I'll still send you £10 for it. I'd like to read it but won't send money first as I don't trust you and your asking price was too high.

I was feeling very low a few years ago just after my wife passed away.On receving the letter you all know I surcumed and purchased thier book It was a good read and at that time in my life I found the stories and folksy styl very persuaive. On returning to the book in a morestable frame of mind I realise that it did not tell me anything that I haddent learnt when I was very young .Like a lot of things from this time you tend to forget and also take for granted many of these true and every day learnings. So the book didn,t tell me anything that I didn,t allready know. But it cost me well over a £100 to find this out. These peaple are very clever and they target the weak and susceptible. Wake UP peaple you arebetter than this you dodn,t need them[/list]

It sounds as though the information in the Nuova Tech book could be found in any self help or hypnosis book from your local book shop for about £10 or less. I'm glad I cancelled my cheque lol.

You would rather have King George II as your leader? Wow, this is why the Americans are ridiculed abroad. You mean, the person who set and read a chlidren's book for 7 mintues when he was told the US of A was being attacked? Yeah, you would rather have him.

Re: RE: Nouveau Tech Society Scam

Wow, this girl/guy, well girl, is missing the point. Of course, Australia is not perfect. You got that right. Let me remind you, girl/guy, wait, girl, that an insult isn't a joke. Jokes made about race and nationality have no place anywhere in this world. Well, maybe in Australia. Do I have to remind you about the recent racial violence in Australia? Not to mention the two aussies who got caught for drug trafficking!

Bello39, you have the best story in this forum. I must have laughed a couple of times. Hmm, usually the older phone-answering ladies are very nice and kind in the US. The young ones aren't.

Bobobobo, you purchased the book and read it. You claimed that you already had known everything in the book. Was it a good review?

I'm sticking to the topic of this forum. It seems you Americans and Austrailans have your own agenda's and have lost the plot. I'll let you argue amongst yourselves if it floats your boats. I try not to argue because I'm not very good at it. I always and up threatening people.

Has anyone any more news on Nuova Tech? The people who have already read the book. Have you made any money with your special powers since it arrived? Have you become great at attracting the opposite sex etc? Or is it just a manual telling you how to gamble, buy stocks and shares etc? Or does it tell you to pray for things to happen?

RE: Nouveau Tech Society

Why not? Share it with us. Make all of us very happy. So that Aussies would leave the Americans alone. And the British can start playing Curling and Darts again.

Thats sounds like something the people selling Nuova Tech would say. Are you sure you aren't working for them and trying to drum up business. Sounds fishy to me. Usually this type of thing is something to do with hypnosis and repackaged to sound better than it is. I can only guess though.

Come on spill the beans and give yourself come credibility.

Yeah - I'd got my letter 2/27/05 from a "special group" of people that if they REALLY knew me, they'd have taken me aside at coffee in the morning and TOLD me themselves! (that's the FIRST warning buzzer). And was told to respond in 3 days (3/1/05 - Hmmm that's 5 days - maybe Clifton, New Jersey is a different time zone?)

But, as it was, I had to "use the facility" and told the wife I'd read it there, in case I ran out of T.P., I'd have 4 sheets!

I'd been in Amway (another "secret society) in the 70's with the 1st wife, so I have a fair concept of B.S. recognition, and this letter is CHOCK FULL of it!

1. They keep repeating "Free!", "absolutely free" and "no cost to you" - CSM J.J.Jackson sez *NO* such thing as a free lunch! - Fer NOTHIN' you'll GET nothin!
2. "You possess a rare trait..." translates to 'you are most likely as dumb as a sack of bricks, but you got money!'
3. They keep PUSHING "you can control people, money, your love-life ..." correct me if I'm worng, but didn't Hitler try that? And isn't that what terrorists want to do? --- and I'm not even off the FIRST PAGE of this trite!!
4. the book they mention, *IS* the Bible - wich (believe it or not, DOES hold answers to a LOT of things - and that's ALL I'll say about religon, because to me, that is a private thing - so help me God!
5. the "T.V.' Star that's mentioned - 'Kevin' (With No Last Name) - I'd found out in a search on Yahoo, is supposed to be one Kevin Trudeu (sp), who frankly I'd never heard of, and in a second link, HE claims that HE'D never heard of these people!
5a. the SAME search of/for Nouveau Tech showed over 6,810,000 items in THAT name alone. Another 2,700,000 in combined links to their OTHER known "A.K.A.'s"! - Two people even said they're demanding this person send them $365, and the other $139, for the "free" book they supposedly 'ordered' !!!
6. The 'founder' - "Dr." Frank Wallace - also has MORE THAN 2 identities (Dr. Frank Wallace and Wallace Ward both came up in the searches).

Barnum said it - "There's a sucker born every minute" (the REST of the quote is - "and two to 'take' him!") - What this outfit is trying to do is get rich on something we ALL have and can do or use on our own.

COMMON SENSE, RESOLVE, and a gut instinct to do what's needed to live and survive!

I didn't need any T.P. that day, just as well, it most likely would have caused a severe back-up, and I'd have had to call in a Septic company! - The letter had a lunch date with the shreadder in my Home/Office!

(and about GWB - maybe HE got a copy of the book or The Air Force had the block of training on a day when he didn't show up for "drill"? - I don't know... )

(and I never met an Aussie I didn't like or couldn't get along with. So that kinda blows the 'Aussies-hate-Americans' thing outta the water, don't it? - but now everybody else seems to hate the Americans - until they need Foreign Aide. Now I'm getting OUT of my forte, Military, and into politics - wrong thing for an N.C.O. to do.)

I'll close on that note. - Semper Fi!

Hi from the UK

My daughter received the "Nuova Tech Society" letter, right address, wrong surname. Thought there was something funny when we started to read it. Internet informs it was a scam. Should know you never get anything for nothing or at least we don't. Recipients do not be conned.

Please, no more caplock posts........# juan.....moderator

mavis, welcome to Canadian Content.

However, please refrain from posting with Caps Lock; it is detractive in relation to the rest of the forum, and it implies some sort of anger problem on your part, lol. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy your time here at CC.net, and I hope to have engaging discussions with you in the future (only, with less capital letters). ;)

Hi Folks

I have just read the 515 page Nuova Tech book. It is not as described in the 56 page book they sent me thats for sure.

The 56 page book said you will get god/man like powers just by reading the 515 page book. It said I would be able to win at cards, make people do what I wanted them to do without them even knowing, it said I'd win on the stock market all the time etc.
Having spent all week reading the book waiting and waiting to be told these amazing secrets. The book just went on and on and on about how god's don't exist.
I got sick of reading the same lines over and over. The book says that the universe was created by the big bang and that people who think about god all the time end up having wars or taking money from workers who produce things. They explain that governments tend to believe in god and Gods liberal ways that governments use to tax hard workers and give their money to people who are lazy and won't work. Its tries hard to get us to get the thought that there is a god out our brains. It goes on to say that in 10 years time medical science will be advanced enough to be able to make people live for ever. But the only thing that will stop us living for ever is the fact we believe in a god that doesn't even exist. Sounds like he is a Dr trying to convince us to let him sell his work when it's done.

All the things that the 56 page book said we would be able to do just by reading the 515page book are lies. The 515 page book actually tries to sell you another 4 books that do what they said the 515 page book would do. So you have to buy another book that tells you how to win at cards. Thats book 2. They you have to buy book 3. I think book 4 is the book that tells you how to be good at business and buy shares that will make you money.

So it looks like BOOK 1 was a con. It doesn't do what the 56 page book said it would do. It is just a long winded book trying to convince us not to believe in a GOD. There may or may not be a god but 56 book didn't say BOOK 1 was a book that would convince us there isn't a god. It said we would have GOD like powers and would be able to win at cards and buy shares that would win etc. It didn't have that information in it. It just went on and on and on and on about there not being a god and that politicians and professional people are not producers and con producers by paying themselves high wages. Now I know whats in the book I certainly wouldn't buy it. If Nuova Tech had put all the information in that they said would be in it then I think the book would have probably been worth the high asking price they charged me. But to have a long winded explanation that says there isn't a god with lots of footnotes in trying to sell other books they sell for dieting etc. I think you can see that they aren't as honest as we would like.

My advice is Don't buy it. I've told you everthing thats in the book. The book just repeats what I've already told you, over and over and over again.

As I said, I can't tell you any details, but I've never been happier.

Because I didn't waste my time and money on it, that's why. Of course I can't tell you any details, not because it's a secret, but because I didn't waste my time and money. Think, people, think. How can people be conned by this crap?
