Gallup hasn't released it's daily tracking of Obama's job approval for today yet, but as of May 12, they had Obama at 51% approve, 42% disapprove.

Obviously, there is a difference between Rasmussen and Gallup.

Duelling polls!

The fact of the matter is that a large number who were
bamboozled by this socialist charlatan have buyers remorse, and would not vote for him again.

"Which numbers are those, YJ? That Obama got 58% of the votes in the last election? Let us see you try to substantiate that."

SirJosephPorter, you probably don't know, but the Electoral College determines the Presidency. Its vote was 365 for Obama and 173 for McCain. That is roughly 67%.

The popular vote was about 52% for Obama. To be fair I split that and came up with my figure.

Yeah, I know, it not scientific, and a person of your stellar intellect might even declare that it nothing but nonsense, but you have your standards and I have mine.

However, the most telling and significant fact is that - if we only consider only the popular vote - 52% voted for Obama and his approval rating is only 42%. That is a big number for those who finally woke up and smelled the coffee. And a BIG DROP.

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports

I know you will dismiss Rasmussen because you always do.

That's telling him Y.J. but hey, you may as well beat on a rhinocerus with a piece of spaghetti.:lol::lol::lol:

I just caught some bits of political opinions as to what makes Elena Kagan qualified for the Supreme Court of the United States:

She loves opera.
She loves to play poker.
She plays slow pitch soft ball.

About as worthy and qualified as her nominator was for the Presidency.

"As to his current popularity, he is at about the same popularity as Reagan or Clinton were at this point in their presidency"

And it remains higher than any Republican in office. ;)

Dowhome Woman I am no more a Palin groupie than you are an Obama groupie.

SirJosephPorter, more and more of the American electorate experience buyers' regret. Obama got elected by 58% his approval rating is 40-45% according to different polls.

For any President to lower himself and the office of Presidency to pick personal fights with detractors - as your idol, The Annointed One does time after time - is definitely UNPRESIDENTIAL in anyone's book, except, of course yours. And perhaps, gopher's.
Hmmm .... "as your idol, The Annointed One does time after time - is definitely UNPRESIDENTIAL" my idol? Are you talking to me or SJP? Just looking for clarification.
