Like I said to hubby tonight... most New Years resolutions seem to be a laundry lists of complaints about yourself... lose weight, exercise more, yadda yadda... I decided if I am going to make one, it had better be about more than criticizing myself.
Good thinking Karrie- maybe the best resolution is just to go about trying to live a good healthy life but keeping it to ones self- most others probably don't want to hear about it anyway. I think being in shape and being fit is very important to one's health, BUT it has nothing to do with the value of the person and yet today we hear so many remarks like "She's fat", "he's a slob", which are just hurtful remarks- I know it's a hard prejudice to overcome, but the size and shape of a person is really not important.
