Works in finance he says. LOL

If he knew what CCAs were, he wouldn't call them subsidies.

Remember all of those pipelines that would never be approved?

Flossy is batting 1000 on that file

Corporations are people!

So tax 'em like people. 35% of income, not profits.

Sure... Have one flat income tax of 35% for all entities, individuals and corps.

No preferential treatment based on level of income

Do I understand that you would have earners making $5000 a year taxed at the same rate as those earning $100,000? How would that possibly work?

What do you mean, how would it work? It's called math.

I realize that, Einstein - too bad anything else is beyond the limit of your pathetic brain!

It would make the whole tax system fair everyone pay their fair share

So what you are in fact saying is paying taxes to a sometimes wasteful Gov't is higher priority than a couple of other incidentals such as eating and paying the hydro bill.

There's no need for insults. Perhaps you need more coffee, or a bowl of porridge.

Come back when you're prepared to be civil.

Before you start yapping off about insults, take a look in your own "back yard" or are you too stupid to recognize sarcasm when you see it?

It's too bad that you are unable to be civil.

I suggest you take a break until you can carry on a civil conversation.

Why should a guy making 150K pay 5 times as much tax as the guy making 30K. Does he use 5 times the government resources?

if everyone pays proportionate amounts what is wrong with that isn't that fair, the rate can even be dropped with more paying their fair share

Everyone needs to eat and pay hydro-tax do you see GST as unfair to everyone?

The guy making $5,000.yr pays $1,750 in taxes whereas the guy making 100,000 pays $35,000.

regardless, my comment was on the heels that Corporations aren't paying enough taxes.... You tell me if the above example is fair in terms of a dollar per dollar comparison?

It would make the whole tax system fair everyone pay their fair share

The ultimate in fairness would be dividing the total cost of running gvt by the total number of users in the nation.... That fixed number would theoretically represent equality and fairness

I guess so if driving some taxpayers to the point of starvation is fair. I'm sort of in favour of those of means paying an extra 5% just to cover the "cracks" the handicapped could fall through.
