Just out of curiosity, where do you get that absurd figure?
They spend more money on military then the rest of the planet combined. And have been doing it for the last 70 years.

Use your imagination if you have any.

Can I use simple arithmetic instead?

A Mk-82, the standard, 500-lb. "dumb bomb," costs about $2000. Assuming that's the median price (it's not, it's well below the median price, but just assuming), there are seven billion people in the world. So we'd need 21 billion bombs to meet your numbers. At 2K a bomb, that'd be 42 trillion dollars.

The U.S. military budget is about three-quarters of a trillion dollars per year. So, if we spent every dime of the military budget on Mk-82s, no planes, no ships, no rifles, no trucks, no soldiers, it would take 56 years of our entire military budget to accumulate 21 billion bombs. This also assumes that we expend zero bombs in training, combat, or obsolescence.

You got one heck of an imagination.

Yeah, well, considering the truth value of your "three bombs for every person" statement, forgive me if I don't take your BS too seriously.

Where are you hiding those bombs?

Considering they have been spending that much for 70 years and you calculated it would take them 53 years to afford that many bombs.....

So yes. The United states has spent as much on military then the equivalent of buying 4 bombs for every human. Your right I was wrong.

Your absolutely right! It is completely absurd the United States has spent that much on military spending in the last 70 years

And we Canadians all enjoy peace due to it.
Personally I'm thankful.

Plus it's free to us.
We enjoy relative peace because we support and pursue the absolute right to war unending gobal war, it's an economic miracle. You can be thank full of course, but you have to pay this bill.
They have protected the trees and the oil when those are gone we'll look like Iraq.

Bullshyte, if that were true you wouldn't be whining about "feminist agenda" teachers.
Again I think you're projecting again gerryh your not making any sense.

Wait, wait, wait a minute, to big to fail is miraculous. I know I didn't engeneer it. i WORK MOSTLY WITH CHICKENS AND VEGETABLES.
Yes dark. The petro dollar is to big to fail. If it fails 1/3 of the world population dies in the first 6 month.
So it can't fail. 1/3 of the population will do anything to make sure it won't

You're the one that was whining about feminist teachers teaching "our" kids their "agenda", then, you state that you put women in their "place" all the time. I say bullshyte. IF you are married, and IF you have daughters, I would say that you are major ***** whipped and come on here stating the opposite to make yourself feel like a "man". You don't put anyone in their "place" at any time. I've met boys like you.
