I see you're projecting again.

Reminds me of Vietnam alright where a bunch of 5' tall guys in pyjamas kicked the US ass too.
You mean when we had orders not to shoot or do anything.Or when a bunch of machete weilding thugs in Rwanda sent someones PEACEKEEPING army to the fringe.
You mean when we had orders not to shoot or do anything.
Your such a joke. Comparing a small peacekeeping force with direct orders not to engage to a full blown invasion and war in Vietnam shows just how mentally challenged you are. With the entire weight of the US military brought to bear you got your ass handed to you on a platter by the VC. You could do everything you wanted and did ...napalm, agent orange, white phosphorus and a million troops. We on the other hand weren't even allowed to fire a round and had a handful of troops.Weren't you in charge?
Excuses excuses.
Hurts doesn't it.
Yet another example of your hypocrisy.

But not all Canadians Nick, that's why were still in Nato.

Its one thing to fail with orders not to fight and hardly any troops, its another thing completely to fail like the US has in Vietnam and Afghanistan and Iraq.

Peacekeeping Force. You didn't keep much PEACE did you.
Orders not to engage... excuses excuses. Why did you bother going?
Punked by thugs. Nice job
Absolutely true, and yes, we failed at that mission, spectacularly.
Are you happy about that? Sure sounds like it.
When you're finished waving your limp penis around, can you go back to the kitchen and make some tea?
No we didn't keep the peace. Orders are orders not excuses. I don't know why we bothered to go if we weren't going to do anything. If it was to try and make Canada look good it didn't work.Peacekeeping Force. You didn't keep much PEACE did you.

Punked by politicians and commanders who wouldn't let us fight.Punked by thugs. Nice job
Not everything, just mostly everything that comes from govt. From the guy that thinks everything is a conspiracy and thinks Socialist Revolutions bring freedom.
In Vietnam??? Wow you really are challenged aren't you? Did you even read what you responded to?YOU were in charge of the whole force. Canadian Lt. General Dallaire was in charge. So who was giving the orders?
Epic failure! If we had sent in the airforce and a bunch more ground troops and been allowed to actually shoot at people it would most likely have a different result but we didn't and couldn't so yes, FAIL.The deaths of 800,000 civillians whom you were sent to protect is not a failure?!

Apparently you can't send the Dutch to do a man's job.Weren't you in charge?

Why am I not at all surprised that they would just bomb a couple of random houses and then deny anyone got hurt. If the people in charge just for a minute stopped believing everybody was stupid they might stop their bullsh*t lies and tell the truth.

.....
NATO has promised that it will investigate the killings, but their official statement on the incident said only that they fired the missiles after an attack “by insurgents” and that no casualties were reported.
Would be nice to get the truth the first time and not have them forced into it because someone actually reported it to the public. You don't believe they would hide it if they could? So what is the problem, you were told the truth. United States Marines were taking fire from these two houses or a group next to them. They did what anyone would do, and that was silence that fire. If they had to call in attack helicopter's it is obvious that they were taking some pretty heavy fire. There is no excuse for anyone to hide behind civilians, put that seems to be a common occurrence in Afghanistan and Iraq.
"A spokesman for the Helmand governor said the helicopter attack on Saturday was called in by United States Marines when their base came under small arms fire.
A local elder called Aslam told reporters shots were fired at Nato helicopters, which are believed to have been American, when they flew into the area.
They returned after 10 to 20 minutes and fired rockets, killing 12 of his relatives, he said."
