Hey Risus, you have not posted here anything of value. All you have done is through rocks at me.

You are mistaken... I have told you numerous times that the federal government (the Conservatives) have NOTHING to do with the price of oil, (something of value) but you blindly carry on with an anti conservative rant, that is actually worth throwing stones at. You just don't understand it, so I guess until you do, I'll continue throwing rocks...

Risus, the Conservatives are a bunch of wanabes and they are not what the country wants them to be. They pretend they are the Canadian alternative to good Government and all they are a BUNCH OF F UCKING LOSERS. You are politically blind my friend. They will piss on your vote when they feel the time is right.

You have proved my point. Your IQ is less than your truck driving boot size. You sound like a broken record, you blather with no substance. You are an obnoxious, classless and ignorant moron. You are offensive. Continue posting when you grow up.

Well, I've probably sounded a bit like Soc myself from time to time. The political difference being that I don't choose sides. I will diss the Hypogrits just as much as I will the Cons as I find the whole lot of them to be equally repulsive. (Some days I get downright anxious about when AB boots the feds out of their province and BC follows suit.)

(In my best Howard Cosell voice) And Socrates is down! Risus lured him in and knocked him out! It's chaos here on content!
Love the Cosell. It's just as he would say it. I can hear his voice.

Actually, Zz, I have to argue that point with you.........Canada was intended to be a nation with a strong centralized government. The overwhelming evidence of that is found in the BNA Act.........which reveals the intent of the authors by awarding all "residual powers" to the central gov't, and giving the Federal gov't the power to "disallow" ANY provincial legislation.

The people responsible for our constitution had just watched the USA tear itself to pieces in the Civil War. To them, the main cause of that conflict was the loose construction of the American federation, which left the individual states with most of the power, and Sir John A. had NO intention of seeing that happen here.......

The irony is that the USA, which was meant to be a loose coalition of states, has become a united nation with power residing mostly in Washington......and Canada, which was intended to have a very powerful central gov't ruling over a tight coalition of provinces, has become a loose coalition of provinces....

The best laid plans.....

The only issue I have with that concept is that the BNA act was laid down for that strong all powerful central government (With the final final say) was to be based in London. A strong central government was just part and parcel of being a colonial holding.

Modern Canada (with its binding ties to London severed) is far more of a regional system. The requirement for the Provinces to accept changes to the constitution is a pretty bluntly obvious safeguard against a strong central government.

The point is, don't even try to assume you have more money than me, because I know you don't. And perhaps you could spend a bit of what you have on a dictionary...

If you only new a little bit about me. You are such a sad story man.
