I'd like too, I'm sure she would have been happy with 0 kids.

Then, in reality, you are all talk. Unless, of course, you're going to get rid of your existing wife and replace her with someone of the same mind set as yours. Is that the plan?

Actually to get serious about the topic, I think food stamps may be a better system than our food banks. Probably causes less embarrassment for the recipient.

Food stamps get used up fast. Mid-month top-ups are a must then. Food banks are available to low income earners - the wage McDonalds and call centre jobs pay - too

I disagree
food stamps would cut off a lot of people that actually do not have food

Who is turning to food banks? There is no single, typical profile. The people helped include families with children, employed people whose wages are not sufficient to cover basic living essentials, individuals on social assistance, and Canadians living on a fixed income, including people with disabilities and seniors.

Well that's a humbling.

You did it to yourself though. Survival of the individual is not what being human is about in the end. If there's no cause you would die for then the things you live for are less than they could be.

I did one time offer food to a homeless man, oddly enough,
he refused my help and told me he only accepted money.

It reinforced my understanding that you can't help people that don't want to be helped.

That was many years ago
