I wonder what the battery re-charge period will be between flights? With a four lb. payliod and a thin Martian atmosphere for the rotors to bite in to, that drone is going to suck a lot of power. One day on, two weeks off?

I have looked at some numbers and the atmosphere don,t seem thick enough for the blade pictured, it must have thrust by other means in my opinion.

Hollywood has thrust just like that I believe.

Bigger blades kids. Bigger blades.

Payload must also be reduced. I have been led to believe that the dust composes most of the lift medium, so to speak, in this case, however I am hardly an expert in this field. I have to give NASA credit however because thier bullshjt has enthralled another generation. Has the funding for this sex with Mars been approved? No I didn,t read the article cuz the picture had ten thousand words in it, there was no need to go further. I n my opinion.
Hang gliding on Mars anyone?

I,ve done some more math I think, not real serious math, but, I don,t think a paper airplane would work om Nars.

In the old days they used to send cars - with people driving them - to other worlds. Now they are sending toy helicopters. We're going backwards.

Well I meant "they" as in NASA, to be more precise - an organisation which had to rely on the help of the Nazis to get to the Moon.

As opposed to the British king who supported and sympathized with the Nazi's.
