At least I expressed an opinion. Your comment indicates little beside a marginal ability to make lame insults.
I'm willing to debate the "Toronto 18" threat.
As I understand it, these radical wannabes were initially all talk and no action. Their talk attracted the attention of moderate Muslims who rightly informed the RCMP. The RCMP watched the group for months and had little to show for their efforts besides foul words. Yes I am aware these loosers talked about blowing up Parliament hill and beheading the PM. But they were also armed with paintball guns and tended to get lost in the woods. Until the RCMP began to move the plot along, they were mostly a potential search and rescue problem. These loosers only became a serious threat after an RCMP informant stroked their egos, encouraged their fantasies, gave them real guns, fake explosives and a place to store everything. Until then they were just serious a$$hole loosers.
I'm sure many of the Toronto 18's friends and family resent the RCMP informants for doing more than just dangling the bait. While the level of RCMP involvement doesn't quite cross the line of entrapment, IMO, its about as close to the entrapment line as you can get without crossing it. Since these loosers took the bait, they proved their intent was malicious. Therefore, they are guilty.
No rational person would believe these 18 idiots represent the Muslim community. Most Muslims are moderate, law abiding citizens, not extremists. Few Muslims have ever threatened a political leader, let alone plotted to commit an atrocity. As far as I know these idiots are the only Canadian Muslims who ever attempted to put talk into action. Even then, I am not 100% convinced they were competent enough to have acted illegally without RCMP "assistance".
Let's be clear here regarding who foiled this "plot". Moderate Muslims identified this potential threat to the RCMP. Moderate Muslims cooperated with the RCMP investigation. Moderate Muslims became RCMP informants. Moderate Muslims testified on behalf of the crown. As a result, I conclude moderate Muslims are our best defense against looser Muslim extremist wannabes and they are probably our best defense against real Muslim extremist threats.
