You know, not ONE of the apologists on here has tackled the question........which is very pertinent to the original OP.
My hypothesis is that Islam is both a religious and a political philosophy that smacks of fascism, and in fact is comparable to the most vicious form of fascism known as Naziism, combining genocidal Jew hatred with the demand for total submission to the philosophy, added to the belief and desire for world domination.
Why do you refuse to tackle the Question???

There are Muslims that are quite moderate....in fact, the Toronto terrorists were exposed by a Muslim.

There are moderate Muslims, there is NOT a moderate Islam.
Colpy lumps all Muslims together, moderates with extremists, shiites with shias.... he incredibly ignores the sheer diversity of over one billion people...

You cannot intrinsically condemn the general tenets of an entire religion without admitting that you also condemn all of the members of that religion. It's not logically consistent.

Blood money - A person kills another - A payment can be made to the family of the deceased - If they accept it, then there is no other penalty such as beheading. Can you condemn that?

If one of the fundamental characteristics of a religion is evil, and you believe adhere to that religion, then you are fundamentally evil. But moderate muslims are also fundamentalists, they're just not extremists.

Because evil is not a fundamental characteristic of the islamic religion. Its a contortion or a perversion of the religion by extremists.
If evil was a fundamental characteristic, then everyone of us could say without guilt, that all muslims are evil. And if Colpy can prove to me that a fundamental characteristic of being muslim is "to be evil", then I will concede the point, but also bear in mind that I would have to accept that all members of that religion are evil.

Yes you can. I don't agree with everything the bibles says, but I like most of the Christians on this site and some I've met in r/l. Equally, I disagree with parts of the Quran, and yet like most of the Muslims I've met.
