With that length of time, I could doze off.
to pass bills when sleep deprived is irresponsible. Sure if it was some kind of national emergency bill, which this is not. Certainly they could vote for the separate amendmends over a period of days rather than when half asleep or wired on caffeine. This is ridiculous.
I'd even support having a law limiting time in the Commons to let's say 8 hours a day except in an emergency. Sure it would slow down legislation, but at least MPs would know what they're voting for.

Oh, and the opposition was so determined to make a point that in the last few hours the Conservatives were voting down amendments with a vote of 2:1, as many of the opposition MPs had abandoned the House.

I fail to see what all the fuss is about. Every 4 years or so we the taxpayers get to decide if the bills passed were worthy or not. If not we throw these bums out and let another lot try. Most of the yapping in between is just blowhards preaching to the choir.

Mulcair and his posse are SERIOUSLY deluded.....Canadians are simply NOT stupid enough to elect them.....Oh notice the chant was en francais......thus sharpening the point....Quebec is NOT Canada.
