Well your're still young enough to think doing 9 keystokes for one entry is a good idea. There's hope for you when you actually age. ;-)
Speaking of farmers i could high jack the farmes daughter especially if she has a pair of 'Daisey Duke " with her. you know we are talking about mountains and hills in this thread.when it comes to hijacking, generally no-one minds if you hijack a rusty old tractor. Except maybe the farmer.
Agreed, but you can avoid the first five of those if you put a shortcut to Character Map on the desktop and your monitor's wide enough that you can see it somewhere around the edge of your browser or word processor window. Then it's just three mouse clicks to get the °. And who wants to memorize all those 9 keystrokes for more than one or two special characters? My ancient brain's not up to it anymore.9 keystrokes is better than start-->programs-->accesories-->system tools--->character map, scroll scroll scroll copy, paste
Continental drift creates mountains when plates collide. That explains why some mountains are basaltic (underwater formed igneous) some are granitic (air formed igneous) and some, sedimentary.
Fossils are found in sedimentary rock - rock formed from underwater sediments. Admittedly, some meteorite impacts have left deposits in the Earth. Mineral wealths in the Sudbury Basin are an excellent example. An impact with an object as big as a range of mountains would certainly have blown this rock to oblivion.

I say: I don't contradict the continental drift and the fossils found from underwater sediment and the wealth deposit that may have come from some meteorite impact.
The landing on Earth of the remnants of the destroyed past planets; this happened in its early development; we don't know exactly about its speed of rotaion, the nature of the thin crust, and many other factors that may have inluenced the process; and how have they been cast skillfully to make its movement steady and regular!
eanassir.
God bless you and keep you
