They are not interested in world support. They simply want the Russians out of their homeland. If it takes shooting up a few schools or blowing up people on the subway that is what they will do. Remember when Canada used to have the FLQ? While not as extreme the FLQ used similar terrorist tactics.
Perhaps. But they don't seem to clue in that when they do shyte like that, they make it hard on their fellow Muslims (or whatever brand of nutcase happens to be terrorising) in the other areas of the world. So they're basically screwing up any support they might have among their own people. That's kind of stupid, in my books.

There is another member here(her name is Vereya) who also lives in Russia(Tula, actually). However, she has not been around since last May and a bunch of us are worried.

I find myself even more worried when I hear about tragedies occuring there, as I have no way to see if she is okay.

It seems that there is no safe place from terrorism anymore.:-(

I’m not sure that I understand your question correctly..
The current political decisions are estimated in different ways by the people. Inter alia there is no unified opinion about the war with Georgia in 2008. For understand that it is enough to read Russian forums, blogs and comments under the news.
As of protests.. Different people express their protest in different way. The big part of the active people which feel indignant at situation in the country prefer to emigrate.
Another big part of the people prefer to voice theirs protests in theirs kitchens.
And very many people want to go to the street meetings to voice theirs protests. It concerns not only the political protests, but also the protest against ecological problems. So.. for Moscow meeting of different theme it is normal 300-500 participants, not more.

Russian war crimes that they are expected to and will do to when they exact revenge for the subway bombings.

Count me among that bunch. It is too bad there is no way to reach her. She may have found a lover in Greece and is happily in conjugal bliss. I would prefer to think that than the alternative but guessing is not as good as knowing.

When has blowing up something and killing a bunch of people ever helped the perpetrator's cause? In my estimation it simply adds to the resolve of the government to find the killers and their organization and snuff them out.

It is so amazing for me.. Really I haven’t met such relations in Internet forums before..

But I think that you shouldn’t trouble so strongly. It is rather funny sometimes, when emigrants or foreigners talk about life in Russia. Very often they think that it is so awful and dangerous that makes impossible normal style of life.. Actually our life here is not so bad and not so dangerous.
Hmm… At least I guess in some Africa countries – are worse than in Russia.:-?

Maybe she just have gone away on another forum?
