You think we have a crisis now, wait until the Tories force an election and they end up in opposition again. If we go to the polls in June or March it does nont matter the Liberals will still hold a majority or a minority government. The fact is none of us like the Liberals, but we don't like the Conservatives and we are not ready to trust the Federal NDP.
Most Canadians are not happy but they are not on the political right either. If you think the latest scandal is a bad thing, most of us still believe lyin' Brian was much worse.

......and the populace kicked them out and made them pay the price. And no, I don't accept the premise Brian was worse. What is worse is that the Liberals campaigned in 1993 on cleaning up the so-called corruption, and immediately started finding ways to make the corruption worse, starting with Uncle Jean and moving now to Pretty Paul. And now, they have the gall to say that even though they campaigned on cleaning up corruption, and got caught with their whole body in the cookie jar, that they are the only party who can clean it up. Anyone who actually believes that crap is beyond help.

So, if the country kicked out Brian in 1993, let's do it to the Liberals for exactly the same reason. To do otherwise is being hypocrital at best, and dishonest at worst. If you don't kick out the Liberals this time, you can no longer make an argument that Brian got kicked out for corruption.

It's not a race, cub1c.

Maybe it is, and maybe it's not. All part of that magical hidden agenda again, that only the left knows about but won't reveal, cause all of those of us on the right don't have one, never heard of one, but would sure like to know it so we can respond to it. Hard to defend something that doesn't even exist.

RE: More than politics, t

The Hidden Agenda (cause Conservatives are too incompetent to hide anything):

Health Care: Ask drunk Ralph and his pals from the Fraser Institute.

Gay Bashing: Ask a Conservative. At best they'd like to keep them a little less equal. If you want to know the real truth, ask Randy White or have a gander at the Free Dominion board.

Immigration: White, educated and rich.

Foreign Policy: F*ck the UN. Africans deserve to die for having sex and mosquitoes too, George Bush said so.

BMD: Whatever Georgie wants. So what if it doesn't work and would destroy our reputation internationally, there's trade issues.

Trade: Never argue, never question. Just kneel in front of Georgie. Mouth getting tired? Too bad, Mr. Cheney needs his turn too.

I've watched the agenda, Blue. It sucks and it never changes. It's written in Washington by the sme PNAC dickwads that are destroying the US. So pretty it up all you want. Are you a sucker or a liar, those are the choices left to you. Pick one.

Old news, pal. Ralph quit. Get over it. Even when he was drinking he was better than anything the left ever had to offer in this province and the country.

Gay Bashing: Ask a Conservative. At best they'd like to keep them a little less equal. If you want to know the real truth, ask Randy White or have a gander at the Free Dominion board.

Just because we want to keep the term marriage tradional does not mean conservatives bash gays, far from it. How about I ask the extreme from your side of the fence instead>

Immigration: White, educated and rich.

That's just stupid and you have no proof of it. Again, an unfounded allegation without any backup whatsover. But them you folks are good at throwing out stupid statements and calling it true. How about Romanian Strippers?

Foreign Policy: F*ck the UN. Africans deserve to die for having sex and mosquitoes too, George Bush said so.

No, he did not. Secondly, the UN is about as corrupt as the Liberal party, given the Oil for Food crap that Chretiens son-in law was involved in, and giving the Human Rights Commission chair to that well known country of sparkling human rights, Libya. Why should we turn over our sovereignity to the UN?

BMD: Whatever Georgie wants. So what if it doesn't work and would destroy our reputation internationally, there's trade issues.

First of all, we are in it anyway, secondly, the US is going ahead with it with or without involvement by us, thirdly do you remember 9-11, and fourthly, why would we not want to have involvement in something that costs us nothing, yet will be to the benefit of us if something happens in the future. Typical ostrich reaction to say no. And what international reputation? That's already in the crapper.

Trade: Never argue, never question. Just kneel in front of Georgie. Mouth getting tired? Too bad, Mr. Cheney needs his turn too.

And our present approach has really helped for softwood and mad cow, right? Oh, forgot, those are primarily Western issues, so the hell with us, it doesn't affect many in the East.

I've watched the agenda, Blue. It sucks and it never changes. It's written in Washington by the sme PNAC dickwads that are destroying the US. So pretty it up all you want. Are you a sucker or a liar, those are the choices left to you. Pick one.

Actually, I am neither, but you, I am not so sure about. What you said is only your perception, which is based on nothing. You have no facts to back up your agenda crap. If you support the Liberals you are either very gullible or a fool. Supporting the NDP is even worse, never could afford what they want.

Do you take a lot of drugs, Blue, or just thiose that make you compliant?

Another typical left wing non-answer accompanied by an insult. Some things never change. You guys on the left ask questions, you get some answers, and this is your response. BAAAAAA

I don't see you asking questions, Blue. I see accusations and half truths and outright lies. I see paranoia, unfounded stories, ill-considered plans and half-assed ideas. I've been around enough dopers to recognize your ilk. Bottom of the barrel, that's you.

The only way you recognise all of this is to look at your own posts. Your intolerance is showing again. And as far as outright lies, well, I will concede you have the championship there. Sorry to disappoint you, but drugs never were my thing. And the thing about the bottom of the barrel is that you have to be right there to see me. I also answer your questions, but you never answer the questions from the right. Your total hatred of the conservatives, the USA, and Alberta has influenced your thinking so far that you appear to be incapable of any kind of rational thought or discussions anymore. All you ever do is throw insults out and then get upset when responded to in kind.

Give it up, Blue. I know the history of your party. So does everybody else, which explains why you are slipping in the polls.

Ah, right. Anyone who doesn't agree with your point of view is just wasting your time. Why does that not surprise me?

Seriously though, lest you accuse me of not hanging around answering posts in a timely fashion the way you did with bluealberta, I suppose I should let you know that I won't be here the rest of today and most of tomorrow. I'm heading out in a few hours to take my son to a gymnastics competition. Before that, I have to take him to the ball field for pictures, and then to a football practice. I should be back Sunday evening. Not sure what time though.............

Try not to miss me too much. ;)
