it was interesting listening to the coach's interview and also price's interview, they both said

the same thing. In practice that morning the team was not focused, too much fooling around, and

the coach told them they were not ready to play, and price said the same, and obviously that was

the case, they came on the ice without being focused on the task at hand.

Yeah, apparently that message got through, practice today was intense.

A little cheer from a city that knows how.

Reason for the two delay for game 4?

A RUSH concert at the Bell......I'll forgive it for that.

At least it's not for a "Dora the Explorer" show like the one that delayed the 2007 Stanely Cup final in Ottawa.

I think I understand now why you say it is the franchise you care about Avro - not the present team. Given the chance to take another game at home, what did the Habs do? Very little from what I saw on the screen last night. They looked great for awhile but the Bruins obviously wanted the game so much more. There were moments where the Habs played their hearts out but they kept letting up and the Bruins were all too willing to take every chance given them. Not sure what will happen in Boston.

COME ON HABS - GIVE IT YOUR ALL!

Despite the loss it was an exciting game.

I expected the Bruins to win this series in four, so anything more is all right.

Now if I was a Cannucks fan I'd be worried.

At least we have a little class......can't say much for the Bruins.

IMHO, the Habs owned the 1rst period. It was until the last few minutes of the first, that they let up, just a bit. They were all over the puck and had me screaming in support. Then in the second when Cammalari chased that Bruin behind the net to fight for the puck on a Boston power-play – I came right off my seat and cheered him. There were a few other highlights but things didn’t keep pace with the 1rst period and by midway through the 3rd , I had little hope of a comeback for the guys. It was almost like watching air leak out of a balloon.

PK kind of left me stunned by his way too casual puck toss as he left the ice – there but for Carey the Bruins would have had an easy pick. It was so uncharacteristic of PK.

Blame is being flung in all directions from what I read of comments on the game. I don’t pretend to know enough to even speculate. I just hope that the team can rise to the level of their games in Boston and show us fans that they believe just as strongly in themselves as we do in them.

I truly hope to hear that the creep in the photo gets fined by the league – that gesture goes way beyond un-gentleman like conduct. At the same time, I see this as one idiot’s mindlessness and do not think it reflects at all upon the entire team. I can’t see Captain Serious being happy about this at all.

Captain Brian Gionta... Rochester NY, Boston College.

The Haps know where to go for leadership. New York by way of Boston.

Too easy.

IMHO, the goalies ruled the game last night, Avro. I figured the Habs did well to take the game to double overtime. They played pretty well, better in the overtime though. Didn't like to see the disharmony in the ranks when Gomez and PK were beaking off at their team mates but they held it together. By the time that Boston finally scored, both teams looked worn out and all it took was one slip by either team. Boston got the goal but it could have gone either way.

I am praying to the hockey gods today, Avro. I am praying that the Habs give it all they`ve got tonight and show the Bruins the door to Bell Centre. I know the problems with the team, lack of depth, missing defencemen, etc. etc. All that aside, this team is so exciting to watch when they are on their game. They can be so fast on the ice that it is hard to keep up with them - I hope that speed comes into play tonight.

don't know if I can take it tonight, a double wammy, canucks and habs, I had to immediately go for
a quiet drive to the ocean after last canucks game to wind down, get my heart rate back to normal,
reduce temperature, and carry one my life. lol

there is lots of stress duing these types of games, the level of apprehension and excitement is
huge.
so, I will drink lots of water during the day, keep busy, don't dwell on whats coming, and pretend
it is just another game. lol

right

see, its started allready, I answered the wrong post, but doesn't matter, just
pretend I didn't. lol

I hear you loud and clear, talloola. I felt much the same way after the last time these two teams played on the same night - and lost. In spite of knowing that nothing materially changed in my world, I felt very down for the teams and realized that I had invested a lot of emotion in both of them. However, I did note that leading up to their next games, my level of expectation had changed and my emotions were much more balanced. I was able to remain somewhat removed from the play and simply appreciate the game. Now, I am right back to where I was with high hopes and gitters - rather like being on a see saw.

But you know - I wouldn`t change a thing - the thrill of the win will always outweigh the chance of defeat.

you bet it does, and I couldn't turn my back on this night for anything, so I will pay attention to being sure I breath, (which I don't much of the time), and sip water off and on, and cheer loudly and clearly,
and win or lose I will be there, and support them tonight, and in the future.
