Did you watch the documentary? Did you like it?
i never saw the documentary,i really don't have access to modern day technologie like the rest of the world,i only have access to view alot of junk stuff, this frustrates me.
I really do not watch anything of length, probably because of my lifestyle,it is difficult to commit to time.I like mindless observations, just to rest my mind.

Interesting, this contradicts what colpy has been spouting these past years. Mind you, at no time can I remember him ever backing up his accusations.

Ayshah & Muhammad - The True Love Story for Eternity
The Truth About the Age of Ayshah and Her Marriage to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
by Yusuf Estes
Many things are being said about the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) these days. Some of the accusations are downright amazing and chilling even to consider someone would say it, much less be involved in this type of slander and smear campaign.
Let's consider some of the questions and what facts really exist about these concerns. Let's set the record straight once and for all.
A Brief Overview of Basic Facts
What is the true historical evidence about the person life of prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)? What was his life style? What about his marriage to Khadijah (his first wife)? How did the offer of marriage to Ayshah really take place? Who made the offer? Was there any coercion or compulsion? What was her attitude? How did she reflect on it in later years? What did she have to say about it all? How did she feel about their love and intimacy?
He was the most honest and fair of all the people living in his community. None was respected more for honesty, integrity, sobriety and humbleness.
He had no bad habits and did not engage in drinking or relations with women, although it was common place amongst his people.
He never took a girlfriend nor a mistress in his life and never even attended parties or the like at anytime in his life.
His first personal encounter with a woman was his own wife, Khadijah, and that was for marriage. He was 25 years old and she was 15 years older (40).
He was only married to Khadijah until her death at the age of 65 years old.
There was a long time of mourning and sadness during which he was offered marriage to several women of their families.
He did not accept the first offer of marriage to Ayshah when her father had come to him with the proposal, instead he married an older, large woman named Sawdah.
Ayshah had been offered in marriage and engaged prior to being offered to the prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. That marriage never took place.
When Ayshah was older, again her father offered her in marriage and the proposal was accepted.
The whole family was happily involved and most elated in having the prophet of God as their close relative through marriage.
Ayshah herself was very happy with this marriage as is evidenced by the hundreds of teachings she later related after his death (peace and blessings be upon him).

Islams Women - Ayshah and Muhammad - The True Love Story for Eternity
This eternal love, this, just makes the hearth beat faster. Oh Ayshah!
As it happens, Ayshah was Abu Bakr's daughter, Abu Bakr being the head of the army who's atrocities had been wrongly attributed to Mohemmed, when in fact by that time Mohammed was a bedridden invalid with polio. His illness had to be kept secret, for how could God permit his prophet contract such a debilitating disease. To maintain this secret they concocted the saying that the Prophet's face must not be seen.
I believe today we have something similar happening behind the scenes with the Dalai Lama. Judged by published early photographs of the yound Dalai Lama and up to the late 1970s, and photographs published later, the photos indicate two different persons, the later one with a smaller scull and body. (see my thread: Dalai Lama fact or fiction). At about the time this change occured one of the Dalai Lama's brothers has been reported in the newspapers as missing in China.

In any event it does not matter we will soon be in a full generational war with the
people many of whom are in our midst thanks to the governments who didn't
screen out the bad apples. It will soon be trouble overseas and here.
Those who are genuine citizens deserve our support and those who turn out to
our enemies should feel the wrath of our government. If the government doesn't
do that the people will and that would be tragic and dangerous for all. The end
result is we are at war and will be for a few decades

Aren't you the one who was advocating deliberately bombing villages to cause maximum civilian casualties? Don't sound like you think it's tragic at all.

Where do you think the problems are coming from?

Depends which problems you're talking about. Tell you one thing, there ain't one single cause for any of 'em, much less all of 'em. Ain't one single solution, neither.

Pretty sure bombing farming villages and schools won't help much.

Found this today.......

The Quran (which was narrated by Muhammad) refers to Muhammad's life as "a beautiful pattern of conduct for anyone whose hope is in Allah" (33:21) and "an exalted standard of character" (68:4). Yet, thanks to Allah's extraordinary interest in his personal sex life (as immortalized in the Quran) the prophet of Islam had sex with just about anyone he pleased.

Although the Quran didn't appear to have enough space for topics like universal love and brotherhood (which neophytes sometimes insist are there, but aren't), the list of sexual partners that Muhammad was entitled to is detailed more than once, sometimes in categories and sometimes in reference to specific persons (ie. Zaynab and Mary).

Muhammad was married to thirteen women, including eleven at one time. He relegated them to either consecutive days or (according to some accounts) all in one night. He had sex with a 9-year-old girl and married his adopted son's wife (after arranging a quick divorce). On top of that, Muhammad had a multitude of slave girls and concubines with whom he had sex - sometimes on the very days in which they watched their husbands and fathers die at the hands of his army.

So, by any realistic measure, the creator of the world's most sexually restrictive religion was also one of the most sexually indulgent characters in history.

Quran

Allah managed to hand down quite a few "revelations" that sanctioned Muhammad's personal pursuit of sex to the doubters around him. Interestingly they have become part of the the eternal, infallible word of the Quran, to be memorized by generations of Muslims for whom they have no possible relevance.

Quran (33:37) - "But when Zaid had accomplished his want of her, We gave her to you as a wife, so that there should be no difficulty for the believers in respect of the wives of their adopted sons, when they have accomplished their want of them; and Allah's command shall be performed." No doubt millions of young Muslims, trying to outdo one another at memorizing the Quran, have wondered about what this verse means and why it is there. In fact, this is a "revelation" of convenience that Allah just happened to hand down at a time when Muhammad lusted after his daughter-in-law, Zaynab, - a state of affairs that disturbed local customs. The verse "commands" Muhammad to marry the woman (following her husband's gracious divorce). As for why this should be part of the eternal word of God...?

Quran (33:50) - "O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war, and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts, and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who fled with you; and a believing woman if she gave herself to the Prophet, if the Prophet desired to marry her-- specially for you, not for the (rest of) believers; We know what We have ordained for them concerning their wives and those whom their right hands possess in order that no blame may attach to you; " This is another special command that Muhammad handed down to himself that allows virtually unlimited sex, divinely sanctioned by Allah. One assumes that this "revelation" was meant to assuage some sort of disgruntlement in the community over Muhammad's hedonism.

Quran (33:51) - "You may put off whom you please of them, and you may take to you whom you please, and whom you desire of those whom you had separated provisionally; no blame attaches to you; this is most proper, so that their eyes may be cool and they may not grieve, and that they should be pleased" This is in reference to a situation in which Muhammad's wives were grumbling about his preference for sleeping with a slave girl (Mary the Copt) instead of them. Accordingly, Muhammad may sleep with whichever wife (or slave) he wishes without having to hear the others complain... as revealed in Allah's literal and perfect words to more than a billion Muslims.

Quran (66:1-5) - "O Prophet! Why do you ban (for yourself) that which Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives?... Allah has already ordained for you, the dissolution of your oaths " Another remarkably personal passage of sexual convenience in a book billed as Allah's perfect and eternal message to mankind. Muhammad was caught sleeping with a slave woman on the night that he was supposed to be with one of his wives. Initially promising to be faithful, "Allah" tells his prophet to break that promise and enjoy sex with his slaves. If his wives objected then "it may be if he divorced you (all) that his Lord will give him instead of you, wives better than you."

Quran (4:24) - "And all married women (are forbidden unto you) save those (captives) whom your right hands possess." Allah even permitted Muhammad and his men to have sex with married slaves, such as those captured in battle.

and on it goes.......

Here is the heart of the problem we are going by books and teaching of others
words from two thousand years ago or fifteen hundred depending on the text.
Oh I forgot the Jewish texts are older than that, How the hell do we know what
is true? How do we know what was actual and what was symbolic? Remember
most couldn't read or write they were told many things as stories to illustrate
what the people could not read.
In the Bible Jesus said "Slaves obey your masters" I know this is used as anti
Christian. Remember the times one was living in. The Roman Empire was
looking at this guy and like today one picks their battles. I know slavery is not
acceptable but in that day it was a normal as owning a car and to try to understand
we have to think in those dimensions. The Bible is full of stuff the Koran is full
of stuff. That is why today enlightened people have difficulty living by an out of
date book of living instructions some things in it are against the law today.
I have been giving some thought to the events of the last few days. The society
the Muslims live in religiously do not prepare them for the real world. Like it or
not they are not equipped to live in the modern world with open views and the
aspect of independent thought. We are not forcing them to live in their own
conclaves in inner cities they are doing that on their own. If they want jobs and to
be part of the community they have to move to the modern era. Many are doing
that and all the credit to them. Some have isolated themselves in little confined
neighborhood spaces and the radicals feel insignificant and can't cope with the
difference from what they were taught the and reality of life especially in the west.
The immigration policy of the West is deficient, We don't see problems with Chinese
or Japanese or Europeans or South or Central America? The problem is there is a
clash between two ideologies that are not reconcilable. The educated people do
realize most of the good news in the ancient texts are guides and idealistically
driven the fundamentalist Muslim believes they are literal

I agree grumpy; there is some truth to what you've said: the clashing of two ideologies and they are not reconcilable simply because there is no tolerance for change on one side (by the uneducated) and refusal to accept that there is no tolerance to change (by the educated) on the other. This will lead to a major confrontation. It's not a matter of if but a matter of when.

I could not agree more. This is exactly I re-wrote the Bible, titled "Voices from the Parallel Universe". I have been suspended from every Catholic websites, they are determined to stick to their illusions. Also selling the Bible is big business worldwide, so they don't want somebody to come out of the woodwork and tell them their book needs to be brought up to meet the 21st century

for lack of written records. It is understandable in context of the culture, uneducated, nomadic, anecdotally passed on by men by the fireside during desert crossing, excluding women from any discussion. .
In the 1,000 year war against them I would imagine many writings were burned as that is the way of the Christian West. Killing their brightest is also the way of the Christian West.
You obviously need some help in how to do a simple internet search. (that and how to not be an obvious troll)

The 1611KJV is already at that standard, perhaps it is you that needs upgrading.

King James Version is one of the poorest translations and King James was a scouldrel. The NIV is the better source of accuracy of these books written by men. Might I suggest you read Kenneth C Davis book, " Don't Know Much About the Bible". Check out a real scholar Megaloon.

Fukk Mewhammed those animals were barbarians and haven't chaged much apparently. I think most of the crazy nomads inthose days and in Jesus time as well were barbaric bastards..
