I appreciate that mans message. Of course there is a great deal mankind could do to clean up our act. But like many others his dire warning does not take into account the physics contest of mankind versus earth in which mankind has not once prevailed not is likely ever to do so. We are powerless against nature and we are powerless against the Suns determinations. This planet is not a greenhouse and CO2 has and is already regreening this world. Numerous satillite photos indicate great regeneration of green. even in regions that haven,t seen a blade of grass in human memory. I will dig arround for the links later. Long before we could even approach the murder of this world we would be eliminated without regard to our self appointed importance. This planet does not know we are here and could care less. Some of us have heads swollen by fake human self importance.
Historic severe drought has so far affected 32 000 ha (70 073 acres) of rice crops in Thailand's Phimai district.
Officials observed the situation in the district and found rice on 32 000 ha (79 073 acres) have wilted and are on the verge of dying as various sources of water in the district are running dry.
According to Governor Wichian Chantharanothai, if it does not rain this month the crops will be destroyed, the Bangkok Post reports. "This is the worst drought so far this year," the governor said and urged residents to use water prudently.
Some locals are saying this has been the driest July in 40 years.
In order to provide temporary relief, water trucks have been sent to the drought-affected regions and authorities promised compensation to affected farmers.
Similar reports are coming in from Surin province where water levels of Huai Saneng canal, the main lifeline of the reservoir with the same name, are lowest in 41 years. Residents said it shouldn't last a month.

Maybe not but maybe so. Mother Earth is acting out. She is pissed at what we have done to paradise; our complete lack of respect, empathy for any living creature, our total disregard for life, we turn air land and sea into garbage dumps.
