That corporation is government , and they continue to grow until they are all consuming . Capitalism tries to counter and fund the excess of government . Without the growth provided by the capitalist socialism withers and dies , just like an unwatered garden in summer .Hi! PGS
What I think about when I read your comment is that the Economic Terrorists will hold the voters hostage if votes don't go their way. Either vote to continue giving the Economic Terrorists a 25% share of all government spending or they will destroy the country, just like what they are presently doing in Venezuela and in countless countries who demanded social programs and no more wars around the globe.
The Economic Terrorists don't want any monies being paid directly to an individual citizen without it first passing through a corporation which allows them to grab a 25% management fee.
Without profit a corporation can neither pay their employees or suppliers .Hi! Durry
I call the Bay Street cabal "Economic Terrorists" because of the tactics they use.
When things don't go their way, they repeatedly threaten a whole community of families with the possibility of moving to Mexico or the like. They "Terrorize" a workforce who attempt to form a union. The "Terrorize" voters with threats and intimidation.
If the tide does turn and the polls begin to suggest an NDP government ..... the media is going to begin working overtime to cripple the campaign. The Economic Terrorists on Bay Street will pop up with dreary and frightful forecasts of doom and gloom.
Drivel. This is how the Economic Terrorists get their 25% Management Fee.
The next crash has been planned
Who wants to profit … and who should pay the bill

-- Rulers have known for centuries that the most effective form of “domination” over a country is not military and political, but financial, through money: “He who has the money controls the world.”
Anglo-finance has acquired this power over money by the creation of formally public, but in reality private, central banks such as the FED (Federal Reserve Bank), the BOE (Bank of England), the BOJ (Bank of Japan), or formal-state central banks such as the ECB (European Central Bank) filled with their own people, so that the leading central banks of the Western world are in the hands of a financial syndicate and thus form a self-contained, closed power group – the dollar empire.
“Since money is involved in every business transaction, and as whole civilisations literally rise or fall with the quality of their money, we are talking about a tremendous power operating in secret. It is the power to create illusions that initially seem quite real. That is where the core of FED power lies”.
The trend towards the centralisation of money and banking not only benefits the largest banks with their power over money and thus the economy, but it also benefits the state, which can use the monetary system (debt) as an alternative form of revenue. “The coalition of state and big banks is the crucial backbone for the centralisation of money and credit.”
-- “Democracy” has become social policy with ever-increasing social welfare benefits for ever-larger voting blocks, funded by loans from international banks. For finance capital, credit is an instrument of domination, especially so as it has its own central banks to provide unlimited money for suchlike US high finance machinations. Money is simply reprinted or electronically multiplied.
Dominating the world by means of the glut of money
“This money glut is the force by means of which US high finance dominates the entire world, subdues it through loans, and subjugates those who have accepted their money permanently.”
-- John Perkins describes how, with counterfeit assessments, excessive loans are pressed into countries, how bribes or threats are used to make governments credit-prone. Those politicians who continue to be reluctant suffer fatal accidents, such as the presidents Torrijos (Panama), Roldos (Ecuador), Allende (Chile) and others.
“The new form of world conquest only consists of the fact that it no longer primarily uses military forces to subjugate peoples, but first presses excessive loans on them, in order to then gain financial and economic control over a people by means of its debts and overdrafts (debt and interest servitude). The result is the same: in both ways, peoples are made permanent tributary and dependent vassals.”
“The US high finance domination of the world by means of unrestrained printed money, loans and interest rates, is the new form of imperialism, which is built on debt rather than on bayonets and has thus subjected more than 100 countries in the world.”
“To spare the subjugated states the embarrassment of being called subservient, Washington officially designates its vassals as ‘allies’, which suggests an independence that these countries do not possess.”
Hi! Mental Floss
I thought the mirror cartoon was funny.
If I read the poll tracker correctly, it would appear the NDP seems to have secured official opposition to a Doug Ford majority with the Liberals completely obliterated. The Tories dropped 1.5% while the rest of the gains of the NDP came by losses by the Liberals and the Greens. The only thing this does is pretty much put to bed the notion that the Liberals will form the next government.

ETA: of course this assumes that any polls mean anything which has been shown on several occasions to be a false assumption.
Why ? All the NDP have to offer is more Whynn and higher taxes .It will be interesting to watch the Ford campaign retool for the NDP threat.
They were counting on just not be WYnn and the Liberals but if the NDP are in there then Ford is going to have to have some ideas. And Ford does not have any ideas.
It must suck to be so poor .Hi! PGS
All Doug Ford has to offer is "Trickle Down Economics" which is exactly what the Financial Terrorists have been selling us for the past 50 years, and as we watched the world which surrounds us wither and collapse.
Trickle Down Economics simply means that the Economic Terrorists demand that all money pass through their hands first so that they can extract a 25% management fee.
It used to be said that it is "Demand" that creates jobs.
But with Trickle Down Economics, they claim that it is "Business" which creates jobs. That it takes a pillage to create a village.
It must suck to be so poor .
It must suck to be so poor .
It was the liveliest — and, at times, the nastiest — Ontario election debate in decades.
The three major party leaders faced off Sunday night in Toronto for the final time in the June 7 election campaign.
And things got personal almost right away.
Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford, whose party has slipped behind the surging New Democrats in public-opinion polls after weeks in front, warned NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is not ready to govern.
“I travel around, I’ve talked to hundreds and hundreds of companies — they are terrified of the NDP coming in,” Ford told viewers during the raucous 90-minute televised debate.
“They’ve told me personally, ‘We will pack up and we will go down south in half a second.’ God forbid the NDP ever get in, they will destroy our province,” he said, predicting Horwath “would annihilate the middle class” and “bankrupt this province.”
Following the debate, Ford repeatedly refused to say whether he would move Deco Labels and Tags, the successful business he inherited from his father, stateside if the New Democrats win.
After weathering a barrage of hyperbole from Ford, Horwath reminded him he has yet to share his full plan for governing Ontario.
“People started voting yesterday Mr. Ford. Where is your platform? Where is your respect for the people now when they are already at the polls and you haven’t provided them any information at all?” the New Democrat said.
“You wouldn’t buy a used car without looking under the hood,” she chided
With just over a week to go before Ontarians choose their next government, a new Ipsos poll suggests a mid-campaign NDP surge has been halted in its tracks — and Doug Ford's Progressive Conservatives are making a comeback.
The poll, conducted between May 25 and 27, would have captured at least some respondents after they watched the final leaders' debate on Sunday night.

If the election were held tomorrow, it revealed, the PCs would receive 37 per cent of the popular decided vote, up one point from last week. The NDP, meanwhile, has seen a softening of support — dropping from 37 to 34 per cent of the popular vote.
