Goober, WHY DO YOU exclaim finally?!

Since you know so much about Lou Dobbs (based on your OP) why did you not stop watching him?

I'm just wondering if you would judge as harshly ....someone whose policies you agreed with.....

Now see here's the point that you still haven't grasped...it's not his policies I am judging. It's obvious you think that this is a causitive factor, and I assume Yukon Jack does as well with comments like "the left" and "Kool-aid drinker leftists". Left or right, liberal or conservative has nothing to do with it.

For a parallel that should make this clear, I also judge harshly evangelicals who rail against the immorality of our society, make millions while doing so, only to find out later that they indulge in those so-called aberrant behaviours they have made their fortunes railing against.

Comprende?

And for the record, when have I ever said I was against secure borders? It so happens, that I am in complete agreement with Dobbs on this point. Does that make me rightist now? Believe it or not, there are people who advocate policies that fall on either side of this ridiculous right-left dichotomy.

Northern Ontario,
And here is a point that you haven't grasped....that it might be possible to check your own employees...but it is practically impossible to check the employees of subcontractors unless you have unlimited funds like the government and to suggest otherwise is impracticable.
And that at times, something slips through I can find understandable.....looks like I will have to aggree to disagree on this one.

Oh, I understand that completely. Maybe Dobbs got lost in his own rhetoric. He has very clearly shown that there are two standards in his world. The idealistic standards that he holds everyone too, and then the realistic ones that he lives by.

I'm not sure what's the anti-Lou Dobbs all about, but for one he stood up for the American workers and railed against sending jobs over seas.

Some say his rants are racist, little hard to explain when his wife is Hispanic. He objected to people coming into the United States as illegals, seems Canadian's have a double standard as we love to see it when illegals are tossed out of our country, but the USA should have an open door policy.

Lou Dobbs is anti-NAFTA, so I'm I.
