I've yet to be replied to yet in any thread where I've called out the spilling of nonsense from a certain individual on this board. I have a feeling I'm on someone's "hurt feelings that make me take my ball and go home pouting" list. :(

My opinion is, if you've got the balls to say something that's utterly ridiculous and baseless in anything even resembling fact, you better be willing to put those words on the line when we call you out on its absurdity; if I have to read that crap, then the least you can do is hear my rant against it. Any less sort of defeats the purpose of these boards, no?

Ah, that's why Netherlands is #20 with 47/100,000 people in drug offenses, and the States is only #4 with 560/100,000 people. Canada is #9 with 286/100,000 people. Anyway, according to nationmaster the netherlands has less than a tenth the drug problems per capita than the States. Seems to me that the prostitution in the Netherlands stems from foreign "workers" not the Dutch themselves. http://www.uri.edu/artsci/wms/hughes/netherl.htm

Notice how he ran away from that one along with everything else.

Facts are terrible things eh west?

Brilliant. No wonder you think that Faux is 'Fair and Balanced.' Please explain how religion somehow makes a country a better place. Keep in mind that some of the most religious states include Iran, Afghanistan, ect.

Somehow I don't think that religion made those countries any better.

I like Sean Hannity, and he is 100% right to be mad as he// that people are wishing our Vice President was blown to bits.

And you take the typical Liberal path, and bring in off-topic bits and pieces to aide yourself look better.

Guess what Avro, you got a dedicated FOX News Channel viewer here, and every slam you do on FNC and its personalities, I will be there to defend them

Liberals call FNC right-wing.

I call it fair & balanced... it presents BOTH sides, and lets me/you decide.. but since its so different from NBC/MSNBC presenting the left side, its considered right winged.

FNC ratings came in for Feb. and they are doing REALL well.

They doubled CNNs viewers and had 300 000 extra to spare.

Fox network is about 90% right wing, with the exception of Colmes, don't know how he
can stomach hannity, who is like a little child, and interrupts everyone who disagrees
with him, and badgers people to give "one word" answers, so he can jump all over it
and accuse them of "whatever" happens to be his "flavour of the day."

lol I used to get a chuckle outta Fox one in a while, but blinders have become routine there.
Fox news -
Television networks are supposed to be pillars of free speech, so no one
missed the irony when Fox News sued liberal satirist Al Franken. Fox accused
Franken and his publisher of trademark infringement in August claiming they
had violated its "fair and balanced" trademark. Franken's new book attacks
Fox often and uses 'fair and balanced' in its mocking title. Naturally when
the suit hit the press, sales of the book immediately shot to the top of
Amazon.com's bestseller list. According to the New York Times, Judge Denny
Chin threw the suit out saying, "Of course it is ironic that a media company
that should be fighting for the First Amendment is trying to undermine it."
PR Week columnist Paul Holmes wrote, " ... the fact that Fox News can
trademark a phrase so unrelated to its true agenda ... it's as if Larry Flynt
had trademarked the phrase 'tasteful and modest' ... "

ALL MEDIA IS BIASED

ALL MEDIA

Anyone going to deny that?

NO MEDIA GROUP CAN BE UNBIASED.

Next off:

EVERYONE, EVERYONE! WATCHES/READ THE MEDIA THAT FITS THEIR PERSONAL IDEOLOGY.

Your left, you like the CBC, MSNBC, NBC, etc.

I am right, I like CTV and FOX News Channel. (realize CTV has liberal supporters in there, but they are the most fair in my opinion, CBC's liberalness kicked me off the band wagon a long time ago)

All news sources report the stories, usually the same basic premise to the story... where the hell comes from is the angle they go at it, the way they do commentary, and their analysis.

I am right, and I watch FOX News Channel, because they give a fair shot to people like me with my views, they give us a fair shot.

NBC/MSNBC/CBC/etc. have never given me and the right a fair shot: EVER.

So stop wasting your time here debating FNC, and go collect your paychecks from George Soros and go to the MoveOn website... where you all belong, in the far corners of the internet, where nutcase extreme lefts belong.

You are an angry little fellow aren't you west?

I don't think all media is biased at all, balance shows both sides don't confuse it with bias.

If you think this to be so I assume you have proof from your own perspective.

You have, at least implicity. You've repeatedly claimed Fox is fair and balanced, which certainly suggests you consider it to be unbiased.

No need to shout. Doesn't add anything to Bill O'Reilly's credibility, it won't help yours either. Are you conceding, then, that Fox is also biased? Or is it, alone among media outlets as you keep reminding us, fair and balanced?

Dexter Sinister, I am in a place in my life where I do not need negative feelings thrown at me.

Your logic escapes me, and is not worth my time, nor my energy discussing it with you.

Good day.

hahahhahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahahhahaahahhahahahhah I knew there was something wrong with you Sinister, you have "energy draining escapeist logic".:laughing7::wave:

Get a life snowles.

The term is FAIR, and BALANCED... they don't claim to be unbiased.

They are FAIR, because they give the right a FAIR shot.

They are balanced because they bave LIBERAL and CONSERVATIVE analysists.

Michelle Maulkin and Kirsten Powers are conservative/R and liberal/D, and thats is BALANCE.

FAIR , is giving the right a shot to be understood when left is praised and right is demonized in all the other media.

So, I believe FAIR AND BALANCED fits their name.

Once again snowles, go bury your head in the sand.
