And since were here, as for Ford, it's sort of in the sweet spot right now for me. We were so far left there with Miller, the swing to the right is just coming up on the middle ground now where I like to be so honestly it's not bad just now. Oh, and BTW, in the interests of truth, the Liberals will change the ad tomorrow, they have backed down on running it as is. Good for them. lol
The whole damn thing is so silly......much of our health care is privately delivered now, and was under Liberal management, and Harper is committed to the same 6% annual increase in health transfers that the Liberals promote...

I wouldn't go so far as to say it's completely inaccurate. While the quote isn't "linked to a recording or speech text" it's clear (to anybody that chooses to see) what Harper's views on the public health care is. He was, after all the VP of the NCC and they haven't been to shy about their agenda. Harper did likened Canada to a northern European welfare state. So, while nobody has a recorded quote of those precise words, there is enough smoke in the room that no reasonable person could claim it was "completely inaccurate".
I hope that wasn't meant to be more homophobic imagery intended to be used as a weapon against another poster.
