He increased our debt from 500 billion to 721 billion in just under four years and added another 500 billion.
The money doled out for the pandemic was quickly diverted to vote buying in special interest and lobby..
Strangely, there are still people who think he was a good prime minister.
Yes those who got part of those billions . If my employer told me to stay home and work for full pay I woulda coulda been a contender .

Trudeau just went through the motions of a shuffle that had become inevitable as his cabinet had more holes in it than a block of Swiss cheese.
Then, something equally inevitable happened. As Trudeau presented a handful of joyous backbenchers as new ministers, far more had been left dangling. I don’t believe it was coincidence that someone like Toronto MP Rob Oliphant, came out squarely as being in the ‘dump Trudeau’ camp on the same day as the cabinet shuffle. Here’s Trudeau giving a patented non-answer:
Right now it’s only 40-50 Liberal MP’s calling for Trudeau’s resignation before the most recent cabinet shuffle, but let’s see where we’re at going forward….

This sounds like more than just 40 or 50 Liberal MP’s now assuming 150-ish (I’ve lost count of how many they still are that haven’t bailed out of the sinking ship)…

A “vast majority” of 150-ish would be at least 75-ish+, right? So the Liberals don’t even support themselves to govern, & yet….

Those that didn’t get cabinet seats now don’t have a reason to pretend anymore.

“Canadians have clearly lost confidence in him, and Canadians want him to go,” Housefather told Mercedes Stephenson in an interview that aired Sunday on The West Block.

It’s more than just Trudeau that Canadians have lost confidence in long ago, but the whole Liberal/NDP NDP/Liberals ball of whatever it is.

“It’s clear they’ve tuned ‘him’ (???) out, and he is not the best person to deliver the message of our party in the next election.” ??????
Just over half of Canadians told Ipsos they want an election triggered at the earliest opportunity, before it’s scheduled to occur in October 2025.

That would make me think that the above poll aggregate is lowballing the Conservatives support.

Housefather said if Trudeau were to resign in the coming days or weeks, the caucus could vote on an interim leader to serve as prime minister (???) during a leadership election or even, “theoretically,” into the next election??? Bypassing the Canadian electorate again? That’ll win our hearts & minds.

Although the Liberals’ constitution sets a 91-day period for a leadership convention, Housefather says the national executive could accelerate the timeline while still ensuring candidates get a chance to meet with Liberal members across the country??? The ones that count???

“I think you could do that in a matter of less than two months,” he said. “I think that would be the best approach.” ??? President Trump doesn’t take office months away, but in less than a month. What best for Canada at this point?

Housefather said it would be “normal course” for Trudeau to prorogue Parliament until the leadership convention is completed, and a new leader can come back to the House of Commons for a Speech from the Throne??? Seriously???

Is Trudeau also going to Prorogue the American Government at the same time?
Prorogation would dissolve all legislative business and committee activity until the next session begins. A new Speech from the Throne, or a new declaration from the government of its vision, is required to reconvene Parliament after a prorogation and “needs the support of at least one opposition party in a minority government situation”. I wonder who the Liberals are counting on to support a dumpster fire of an idea like that?

21 or 51 Liberal MP’s from Ontario have asked Trudeau to resign…but no Liberal MP’s from Alberta or Saskatchewan have asked Trudeau to resign. Think about that.

So…. If Trudeau comes back in January and says that he’s going to resign, & and then says he’s going to prorogue parliament…& takes this to the governor general for approval, & the governor general refuses this 😳, does Trudeau fire the governor General and replace with another that will do his bidding???

Any sitting liberal that hasn't made Minister in the last shuffle isn't going to live long enough to ever have the opportunity again.

How may are there of those? I suspect if there are some, they could just go to the other's kitchen to talk and not worry about a meeting.
Liberal MP’s in SK & AB? That would be 0 & 1 (I think). There might be one in Calgary maybe…. He was caught doing some shenanigans during the election so maybe he’s still an MP & maybe not?

There are zero in Saskatchewan, & there was two in Alberta, but all of the Randy’s are out….Leaving the one other dude who was caught doing weird shit during the last election. It was George’s first kick at the Liberal can, but he will grow into the role.

U.S. president-elect Donald Trump says he told Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky during a Christmas Day visit that he should run for prime minister of Canada.

"I just left Wayne Gretzky, 'The Great One' as he is known in ice-hockey circles," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform Wednesday afternoon.

"I said, 'Wayne, why don't you run for prime minister of Canada, soon to be known as the governor of Canada — you would win easily, you wouldn't even have to campaign.' He had no interest," Trump wrote.
