Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton has reportedly declined to participate in the Fox News debate that her opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has agreed to.

"We have declined Fox News' invitation to participate in a debate in California. As we have said previously, we plan to compete hard in the remaining primary states, particularly California, while turning our attention to the threat a Donald Trump presidency poses," Clinton's spokeswoman, Jennifer Palmieri said in a statement to Bloomberg.

Sanders agreed last week to the network's debate, tentatively planned to take place May in California, ahead of that state's June 7 primary. Both Sanders and Clinton agreed to a total of four more debates back in February, three of which have been held already.

CBS Anchors Chuckle at Hillary When She Says She’s ‘Not in the Pocket of Anyone’

The anchors of CBS This Morning started chuckling on Monday when Hillary Clinton said during their interview that she was “not in the pocket of anyone.”

“And on the campaign trail, how do you answer that charge that Senator Sanders has made that you’re in the pocket of Wall Street or beholden to their interests?” co-host Norah O’Donnell asked.

“Well, look, anybody who knows me knows I’m not in the pocket of anyone, and anyone who thinks they can influence me certainly doesn’t know me,” Clinton said, while soft laughing was heard in the background from Charlie Rose and at least one other host.

Clinton used a similar line when she was interviewed by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on Jan. 27. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) has ripped Clinton repeatedly for the exorbitant speaking fees she’s received from institutions like Goldman Sachs.

Clinton is the only Democratic candidate who’s gotten money from Wall Street, and the Washington Free Beacon reported on 31 Clinton fundraisers, past and future, involving the finance industry :
Clinton’s long relationship with the financial sector has given Sanders a lot to point out, and she continues to give him new ammunition. Just this week, she was criticized for spending her time raising money at an investment bank rather than spending it talking to voters in Iowa.

Attending fundraisers hosted by finance executives has become standard practice for Clinton, who had already raised $5.9 million from the securities and investment industry leading into the most recent fundraising quarter.

if it has to be explained to you, here goes, sanders, a democrat has everything to lose if he doesn't
do 'something' out of character, so going on fox news is a challenge to hilliary Clinton, so of course
she won't go on, and then sanders can lash back at her and call her 'whatever' for refusing, just a
campaign move, pretty easy to see the 'real' reason he is going on fox, to bring some attention to
himself, and try to make her look wimpy, a word that doesn't fit her and never has.

So you agree with pgs that your statement "democrats would never agree to appear on anything fox network" is incorrect.

Thank you kindly.

And she might not get to preview and veto any questions that she does not wish to answer .

So by refusing to debate on FOX shows that she is strong?

She has been protected by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz from the start. The DNC has complete control of this election and chose the candidate before the primaries started. The fix was in from the get go.

And she might not get to preview and veto any questions that she does not wish to answer .

Exactly.

Because FOX won't allow the DNC to script the debate and toss softballs.

It is also funny that miss Hillary doesn't remember 2008 claiming that all votes count and Obama should be ready to debate her prior to California primaries .She was behind at the time .

Do you have a feeling that perhaps Hillary is nearing the end of her political career?
