People are angry ..... Not all people are angry for the same reasons or against the same policies ..... but a majority of the population is very angry.
Anybody who has lived more than 50 years is well aware of how politicians have lied and are very well aware of how the media (who are supposed to be monitoring truth) have continuously lied with the Ruling Class over these past years.
Just look at the illegal drug trade as an example. For years and years the population was told that the anti-drug courts and policing was winning the war on drugs. Billions of dollars spent and justified each and every day with "We Are Winning". Only to find out that there is such a demand that the government is unable to produce/sell the amounts required. All the pain that was heaped upon those families whose jobs were lost because of a parent going to jail for pot possession and who suffered the violence of a prison sentence.
The War On Poverty began with Lyndon Johnson. The politicians and media told us all that Trickle Down Economics was the path to take. For all these years we were told by the media and politicians that the War On Poverty in North America was being won, only to find out that there are millions of homeless people and that in our public school system more than half the students are math illiterate.
In my lifetime, (born 1948) I have watched all my boyhood heroes destroyed such as Michael Jackson the pedophile, O.J. Simpson the murderer, the Parish Priest the child molester ...... countless corrupt politicians.
I need only walk out onto the street and recognize how very different life is as compared to what the news pundits in the media are claiming it to be ....... and my anger continues to surge.
