Why don't you just stop using 'left' and 'right', because people are all a variety of stances.

The more you use left vs right, the stupider you look.

But maybe that's what you're aiming for.
When someone starts off the conversation with an adversarial position, they are not looking for dialogue, they are looking for a fight.

Actually it's the outside third rail that's electrified. The insulators are a good clue. You'd be correct if you stuck with the O27

...and this thread was derailed sixteen words in

My thoughts are that you have invented a position for the left in order to attack it. There is no evidence that the left wants to destroy anything. And right now it is the extreme right in Canada and the US that seems to want radical change.

The extreme left in BC is busy destroying jobs. In their first month 300 construction jobs evaporated when Petronas pulled the plug and now they are busy trying to eliminate 2200 more an a green energy project. And that does not even include the jobs lost operating these facilities.

Yep, that's called the strawman fallacy.

Extreme right in canada? ROTFLMAO.

You do realize that all 3 parties in Canada would be considered socialists?

Bull Shit and you know it. Petronas' leaving had nothing to do with the NDP and everything to do with poor market conditions. Are the vast majority of BC residents are opposed to Site C. That is why they voted against it and the Liberals. You should try pulling your head out of your ass and getting some fresh air.

YThen explain why Petronas waited until after the dipper and greenies stole the government to pull out.The opinion in industry is they didn't want to catch a social disease.

Other than a few flakes who is opposed to Site C?

Exactly, but for obvious reasons, I'll stay out of it.

When Cap'n Morgan has sat in the boardrooms with billionaires discussing these projects, then he'll have some credibility.

Have discussed many high value acquisitions and divestitures in many boardrooms over the years and it always comes down to economics, existing (and future) liabilities and risk (incl political).

Clearly you don't have a clue on how these things work, but you living in your tiny world of willful ignorance is the safest and best thing for ya'll.
