Exciting times ahead.

Canada is now an intellectual powerhouse rather than a resource-based economy, Justin Trudeau tells Davos

Some rather candid shots in there of him schmoozing with Microsoft CEO and George Soros.

I got so sick of seeing Harper trudging down cap in hand to Wall Street to be feted as their Canadian quisling. Now Justin takes on the same subservient, groveling role.

Let's be clear, the 'knowledge' economy is a fraud. Canada's wealth and prosperity depends on its resources, and the industrial processing of them into useful commodities.. at home... and from there as a basis for trade.

That is something Harper never understood as a true Colonial obedient his masters in the World Banks and Trading Cartels. Intellectual resources.. and natural resources.. without practical processing are useless meditations.

Trudeau's doing worse than i expected... and my expectations were not high to start with. He casts off empty aphorisms as if they contained some esoteric truth. He postures as the new citizen of the post industrial world.. where all but the utterly credulous see an imbecile spewing nonsense.

I viewed Harper as a malevolent collaborator with Global Free Market Capitalism.. but someone who is just plain empty of intellectual, economic, or moral sense will be just as destructive.. perhaps more so.

We have a sputtering compassless fool at the helm.. and we are headed into a cyclone.
