I wonder if she will give up her Canadian citizenship??

Ted Cruz did. You can't have two allegiances as VP or potential President..

There is your October surprise
Nowhere does it say she is a Canadian citizen . Nor does it say she was born in Canada .

Yes agreed, but if she got Canadian citizenship it needs to be stripped..

You can't be President and a duel citizen
I don’t see it anywhere . I am sure she is legit . Still a terrible choice , but so is Joe .

Furthermore, a person born outside the United States may also be a U.S. citizen at birth if at least one parent is a U.S. citizen and has lived in the United States for a specified period.

The U.S. Constitution uses but does not define the phrase "natural born Citizen" and various opinions have been offered over time regarding its exact meaning. The consensus of early 21st-century constitutional and legal scholars, together with relevant case law, is that natural-born citizens include, subject to exceptions, those born in the United States. As to those born elsewhere who meet the legal requirements for birthright citizenship, the matter is unsettled

Gee, how come we can never depend on YOU for accurate information Goobie?
;)
You could almost be a lolyer in yer other life.

Trump responded: “…I heard it today that she doesn’t meet the requirements… And by the way the lawyer that wrote that piece is a very highly qualified, very talented lawyer. I have no idea if that’s right. I would have… assumed the Democrats would have checked that out before she gets chosen to run for Vice President. But that’s a very serious… You’re saying that, they’re saying that she doesn’t qualify because she wasn’t born in this country?”

The reporter corrects him and said that she was born in the United States, but her parents didn’t receive their permanent residence at that time.

“I don’t know about it. I just heard about it; I’ll take a look,” Trump responded.
