Australia has been doing this since at least 1992. No faux moral outrage about it from the perpetually outraged leftards though, even though it still continues today. The trial of the 2 child killers cost at least a million dollars and the $300,000 yearly bill for putting them in maximum security will be

Previous experience with boat loads of Tamils and others indicate that LESS THAN HALF will show up for an average immigration court date if you release them into the community while waiting for security checks to be completed and a judge to be found!
And why do the comprehensive security checks on illegals?

And what of the woman from some South Amercian country who came here as a refugee and was denied entry and with thier usual slowness- LIE-berals set a deportation date well off in the future and the woman was living in a bad place and got attacked and viciously raped with severe injuries and broken bones and etc and so govt let her stay!
If LIE-berals had been more logical and sensible they would not have let the woman waste court resources on a dommed attempt to get refugee status and she would have been deported out of reach of her rapist attacker!
A quicker immigration response would have saved that woman from the horror of the vicious assault. would have saved Cdns some welfare money, would have saved us substantially on health care costs and would have saved us MORE welfare money later because we would NOT have in our midst a traumatized woman with NO education of the type needed for succeeding in Canada! LIE-berals are acting like crazy cat ladies rounding up illegals and fake refugees as if they were stray cats!
