Because of some news articles?

No, because of some court cases and investigations, where he was actually found civilly guilty of framing someone for an assassination plot, found civilly guilty of contravening human rights, found guilty of misappropriation of funds, the list goes on and on. He has cost tax payers huge amounts of money in settlements for abuses that have occurred under his watch, from the frame job, to denial of medical care resulting in the death of a baby. There's a laundry list of how his actions are not the feel good prison come-uppance that people think they are.

I'm not sure how seriously I take trial outcomes in the U.S. Wasn't there a boy named Simpson who got off a little on the light side? (Until the stupid bastard decided to steal some of his trinkets back) -:)

Getting off once is a lot different than having to pay over and over again, and being caught out with testimony.

But, I pretty much assumed what your view would be, like I said. :D

That's the key word....
Ambulance chasing lawyers Bah! ....will suck the system dry with real or imagined torts.
If he was found criminally guilty, he would be in his own jail...

You got it, even court decisions have to be very carefully questioned and examined in this day and age and I don't imagine it's any better in the U.S. than it is here. I heard awhile back that 12% of prisoners are NOT guilty of what they are charged with. I'm not sure how accurate THAT is either!

Everybody in prison is innocent, didn't you know that.

To get a "sorry" from Jodi to the victims family the news man had to pull teeth. She says she regrets killing her victim... sure she does, she is faceing life in prison or the death penalty..

The only thing she feels sorry for is Jodi Aries...

She honestly feels like she is the victim here..

The jury is hung on the decision of life or death.. I wish I was a fly on the wall...

If you ask me, or I was in that jury the decision would be fairly easy..

He hasn't been tried criminally.

Not being in jail doesn't make him a good person, and it doesn't negate the effects of his policies or his political wrangling.

Ah, but you support his policies of denying prisoners human rights, even though many of the people in his prison system are awaiting trial and/or wrongfully convicted (and in some cases are pregnancies being denied proper medical care). Interesting. ;)

If the decision to end a human life is ever easy, you should stop and wonder if you're not just like her. I know it's easy to say from a computer screen that she should die, but in real life, looking at a real living human being, and deciding to end their life. that's not a simple thing.

.

Yes, prisoners have rights.......................to three meals a day and a warm dry place to sleep. I wasn't aware that any of that was taken away!

That's the justice system..

1. she admitted her guilt in open court ** important **

2. she has no real remorse towards the victim, she is the victim in her eyes. (remember, they would never convict her)

3. she is a psychopath who will now become a public charge..

4. she stabbed her victim several time, shot him in the head and slit his throat.. tortured him to death.

No, I would vote for the death penalty.

...and trying your Liberal reverse psychology attempt to say I must be just like her.. no, not working. It's the justice system and I severed on many a jury in Fort Worth, Texas. You are charged by the Government to be part of the justice system and give your decision under the law.

With the facts that I have, I would give her the death penalty. I don't feel that she is honestly remorseful and feel strongly in the death penalty if you kill someone, particularly in the horrific manner she did to this young man, you should have to give your life in return.

An eye for and eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Just so, Karrie.
